Ideal product, simple to connect.

Just received this literally within the last hour, 7th Jan. I had intended to use it with my wall mounted TV to replace the headphones and the 15ft of cable with my new BT earphones. The USB on the TV is buried on the back, and is difficult to reach easily, hence the need for a small compact unit like this that I can plug in and leave.The immediate issue I discovered on powering up, the unit defaulted to the receive (blue) mode rather than the transmit (red - as stated in the page notes above.) As theres no instuctions included in the package, theres only those brief descriptional notes and not much else. This was going to make it almost unuseable as Id intended. However, those page notes also describe the single use button as a function button, and that, and the difference in power on mode that set me thinking. Turns out whats NOT said anywhere, is that if you plug the unit into a USB power supply, with the single use / function button held in, and then release it, it switches the default ON mode between receive and transmit! Problem solved!I spend about 10 months a year in hotels, and often the TVs volume is capped, which can make some programs difficult to hear, even just from a few feet away. If this unit works well in the next few weeks i will be ordering a second for use while im away.Rated as 4 stars only because of the instructions' omissions.

The SHANFEILU USB Bluetooth 5.0 stereo audio transceiver is a small plastic device that plugs into a USB type A port for its power and is capable of transmitting or receiving any analogue audio signal, that is connected via the 3.5mm jack socket, over Bluetooth.When the device is first powered on, there will be a small LED flashing either blue or red, if it is flashing red, then it is in transmit mode, if it is flashing blue, then it is in receive mode. Switching between transmitting or receiving on the device is performed by a long press of the mode button.Transmit mode would be used to transmit audio from a TV headphone socket to wireless Bluetooth headphones, whereas receive mode would be used to turn normal amplified speakers with an auxiliary input socket into Bluetooth speakers.I had no problems at all pairing my phone to the transceiver when it was in receive mode, however pairing my headphones or amplified speakers was problematic. A very short press of the mode button appeared to help sometimes but even when successfully paired, a power cycle would cause problems again.That said, once paired, the device worked very well over 5 - 6 metres at least, the quality is good and there were no noticeable lip sync issues with video.The current taken by the device is very low, there would be absolutely no issue with plugging this into a USB port on a TV for power. The transceiver is also capable of answering or hanging up calls when in receive mode and it contains a microphone to facilitate communications, however I did not use that particular function.

Would like to write more but didn't connect and I tried everything.

A managed to get it paired but no sound . Strange

Well what incredible value . For £8 at time of review it’s give me Bluetooth in the car . I plugged it into the usb port of my cla in a Mazda mx5 and then into the aix port , connected the phone and voila wireless music . Doesn’t get much cheaper than that . Working well so far

It works great for what I wanted for which was a basic hookup to a stereo where all control was to be done with my phone. It lacks any sort of controls other then the one button which I assume is only for pairing. If you need yo control music tracks or volume from the device definitely spend an extra couple bucks for a different model but if all you need is a simple Bluetooth to auxiliary connection this works good.

Sounds are unsteady and scratchy.Did not connect with most things even when my other Bluetooth items worked with those things.Price doesn't matter, pick a better part.
