JUST FOR MEN 1-Day Beard & Brow Color, Temporary Color, Dark Brown

I finally picked up one of those beard pens to help fill in some patchy areas, and I have to say, it’s a total game-changer for my routine. It’s super easy to use, the color match is spot-on, and it gives my beard a much fuller, cleaner look in seconds. It’s not about changing my look entirely, just adding a little definition where I need it, and it stays put all day without looking 'drawn on' or artificial.

My beard is brown and blonde and increasingly, gray. This product evens out the tone and makes everything look…less scraggily, more unique. Gray can be distinguished on some dudes, and very aging in others. This product lets you try out without dying, and washes out with soap (but surprisingly, doesn’t drip color from sweat or rain). Make sure you buy a beard brush to even-out the color. Apply, then use the beard brush to even it out.

Great product. Super easy to use and stays on all day. Doesn’t smear or wipe off if you sweat or if your mustache gets wet from drinking from a glass. The product does harden and give your facial hair a feeling close to hair-sprayed hair, but that doesn’t really affect the effectiveness and is not problematic. Comes in various colors so you can get whichever most closely matches your hair color. I have never dyed my hair and do t mind the grey but this is a great option for quick fixes if you want a fresher, younger look for the day without the mess and permanency of dying your hair.

I use Just For Men permanent dye to color my beard, and it's easy, fast, economical and effective. The only problem is, it grows out. Not the dye's fault, certainly. But it gets tiresome having to touch up the roots once a week. So, I picked up one of these. And — to be fair — it DOES work. I mean, it's basically "man-scara," because that's exactly how you use it: apply it with the brush to achieve uniform color. But there are problems. Whereas the dye offers really even, consistent color, the brush-in gets smeary, clumpy, and sticky. Any over-application looks like you drew on your face with a marker. And although it covers the greys, if you're expecting the same result as the dye, you're going to be disappointed. This dries really matte / flat-looking, and also incredibly stiff. It's also IMPOSSIBLE to wash out. It's like putting a liquid wax onto your beard that hardens when it dries. So, while I thought it would be a viable touch-up that would help save the time and effort of having to re-apply the dye every 7-10 days, it winds up being far more trouble than it's worth. You'd be better off just getting some lash mascara or an eyebrow pencil to fill between the dyes. Bottom line: I won't buy it again.

Ladies! This works for your greys! I just used this around the front of my hairline and it covered every gray instantly in seconds. I wish it was made in pink to match my other beauty products. Similar products marketed to women costs more than double the price! Pink tax!

Wonderful product. It looks so natural.

Worked fine for a few months, but the color started fading fast. After just one shower, most of the ink was gone by the next day. Not very long-lasting and disappointing for the price.

I usually apply a beard dye every 8 to 10 days but after about a week the grey starts to come through and I have often wished I could just ‘top-up’ the grey bits when I want to go out somewhere, rather than dyeing everything all over again. This product solves that issue perfectly. It blends in with the dyed parts and saves me a lot of time and effort. It’s really easy to apply, the brush doesn’t look like it has anything on it, but a few gentle strokes is all it takes to remove the grey. It works on the stray grey ones on my eyebrows too. You wait 5 minutes and it sets, so it doesn’t rub off or stain anything that comes into contact with it. It’s a bit of an odd substance and it’s hard to know how it works. It does make the hair feel a little rough but not sticky. I did manage to wash it out successfully with warm water and soap, which I believe has to be done before I can use the regular beard dye again. It doesn’t quite last as long as a day, I am not even sure if it depends on how often you rinse your face or if you sweat, because as previously mentioned, it stipulates warm water and soap for removal. But it’s more than enough time to get your beard looking good whenever the need arises. It won’t replace the need for full on dye though, so it is more of a temporary fix. But for me this has solved a long term issue and I would be happy make a regular purchase of this product in the future.
