OXO Good Grips 1 L Angled Measuring Jug

It’s decent sized & the measurement viewing is simple but effective, the markings do work a treat. It’s sturdy as is the handle this was a concern for me but it’s solid. I personally haven’t used it in the microwave or a dishwasher but it is meant to be safe for both so I’ll assume that it is? My BIG issue that weren’t mentioned in the product review & I didn’t see it mentioned in fellow customer reviews was if it would be alright with boiling water poured straight into it & the result (as pictured) is yes it’s absolutely fine with boiling water being poured straight into it (I use it for tea in a Thermos amongst other things) it’s a fine jug, it does its job well.

Another cleverly designed item here from OXO. It's so simple, yet so amazing. A simple tweak to an everyday object and it's suddenly so much easier to use. The way the measuring marks are incorporated into the measuring jug mean you never have to bend down to see how much liquid you've just put in. Gone are the days of putting in a bit of water, squatting down to see how much you're put in, adding a little more, squatting down to look at the side again, adding and touch more, checking you haven't gone over the 500ml mark and then pouring some out. Now you just stand up straight and pour in your liquid. This measuring device makes it simple and easy to get exact measurements of liquid in an upright position. Brilliant! Sadly, I can't give it 5 stars though because I have one minor gripe with it. The measuring ring protrudes into the main body of the jug which means the space inside is reduced. This makes it hard for me to whisk up my energy drinks because I don"t have the space to get a good whisking motion going. Other than that - this is an amazing item that makes measuring your liquids a doddle. The markings are clear and easy to read and the rubber handle is nice and comfy too. Great for pouring your perfectly measured water, milk or whatever else you see fit to shove in it.

This is a GREAT measuring jug. What an impressive idea to make it this shape. Instead of holding you can leave the jug on the bench and look down to check the volume you’re measuring. Would highly recommend for easy cooking.

This jug makes measuring as easy as it can be. No need to fill and keep checking by holding the jug up to see if the liquid is at the mark. Leave it on the work surface. Fill to the measure you want and you can see looking down at it. Very clever design.

We used to live in the States so have a lot of recipe books which call for cup measurements. Loved the Oxo angled measurement jugs I bought many years ago, but they needed replacing. Specifically searched for ‘cup’ measurements, and checked the photos which clearly show measurements in cups and ounces. What came? Completely metric jugs!! While I know I’m now living back in the UK, and that 99.9% of people will want the metric versions, I specifically chose these for the cups. I can convert, it’s not like I can’t, but it’s a pain when my US jugs made it so easy with no thinking. Haven’t decided if I’m going to keep them (I bought all 4 sizes) or return them yet. 3 stars because I love the jugs themselves - great way to measure and very sturdy. They just don’t do what it says on the tin as far as the measurements go! 🥴

Dosatore super, molto robusto, bello da vedere. Molto conmodo nell'uso: la misura si vede sia lateralmente sia dall'alto. Costoso, ma dopo averlo utilizzato è difficile rinunciarvi.
