Good fit for steel version of the older type Carmencita. The seal has a 71mm rather than 70mm outside diameter, so whilst a snug fit, works well with no leaks. The filter is also steel and a good replacement.December Update - have used daily for almost a month since purchased without any problems.

As Described

These are a perfect fit but your stove top coffee maker will need several uses to settle in. Initial use loses some pressure and takes longer but after 4-6 cycles it’s back to how it used to be.

Advertised for a 4cups Moka but actually sized for a 3 cups.

Makes the coffee taste plastic / metallic.

Used to replace the bialetti aluminium filter for a Moka 6 cup, hoping it will be stronger as it's stainless steel so shouldn't buckle so easily

I don't know where this screen is manufactured but the quality is much better than the screens that have come in my chinese-made filter screens in my mocha pots. I'm buying this one to replace an inferior screen in my existing pot. The screen is made of heavier metal, the finish is much better and the holes are small like the ones in the Italian mocha pots. Small holes seem to be essential to filter the grounds properly. Very pleased.

Works as described, fits perfectly, use it for about two months for now, still looks good
