Three Colors: Blue, White, Red (The Criterion Collection) [4K UHD]

Incredible films, but the packaging feels incredibly cheap and flimsy. For such an expensive 4K set, I expected much better quality and was very disappointed with the cardboard packaging.

One of the top 5 trilogies of all-time! The 4K spound and color are splendid! This is a must-have product!

If you are reading this, I suspect you already know about these films. The transfers are quite good to 4K. The boxes also include Blu-ray discs that I haven't viewed. I use only stereo sound and it's also good. I love this trilogy.

This is spiritual cinema. Three films that present a character in a moral crisis that they must resolve. The resolution of each tale is not explicitly Christian but in each case thoughtfully uplifting. Lots of usual extras here also - explaining how and why these films came to be. Very highly recommended package. a Polish film-maker working in France in the mid 1990s.

Movies themselves are wonderful, but be careful if you order this Criterion 4k trilogy. I ended up returning both the original and the replacement because both of them had 2/3 of the 4k discs scratched up, and one of them had a 4k disc loose in the case and scratched even more. There’s some kind of problem either happening at the factory or with the design of the case itself.
