This was as advertised and arrived from the UK to Australia in reasonable time. It's regrettable, however, that Australia is not much better served with distribution of books, music and films from international sources, that this and other films are therefore not locally available, and that they are too often only internationally available at grossly inflated prices. This film is a well-crafted balance of a depiction of two very different professions (singer/actor, and bodyguard - each of them lonely in different ways) that integrates music, a harmless stalker fan, and a commissioned assassination attempt. This film was a major turning point in Whitney Houston's career and spawned a hugely successful soundtrack album. It retains its interest as the tragedy of Whitney Houston continues to fascinate her fans and attract re-interpretations - sadly, a not uncommon type of tragedy - and as many other films have since adapted elements of the bodyguard theme.

Can not play in North America - not listed on the Amazon site Or even on the DVD itself - Not returnable if opened plus costs to return to UK Uk company does not acknowledge the lack of information upfront Wanted to Stay away from this company but after a few emails they did come thru with a return and shipping costs Appears they did not know Amazon did not list as Region 2 in NA and will hopefully follow up

I could listen to Whitney all day. What voice. A white man kisses a black woman on screen for the first time. Whitney's death was a complete waste of a generational talent. Her rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner is through the roof
