Inspection hatch
Brilliant thing. Used in back of kitchen cabinet to access the water stop cock. Made everything look tidy and finished. Top item 👍

Good solid quality plastics
This hatch is made of good quality sturdy plastic which doesn’t seem to bow or walk out of place with general use. It was an exact fit for the measurements advertised, and is exactly as you would expect it to be functionality wise. It’s fairly easy to install, with screws or bonding like we did.

Cheap, useful if fitted in an unobtrusive position.
Having found a damp patch in a flat's ceiling due to a leak in the roof, I wanted something that would allow continued escape of water, protecting the ceiling, but could be simply closed by the flat-owner once the building owner had attended to the leak and everything had dried out. This can do the job. The hole created is (fortunately) within a wardrobe, so the appearance of the access panel is acceptable and would allow for future inspection as needed. It would be much less satisfactory if on view within the room. It's obviously 'cheap', fairly thin plastic but should be OK as it will be rarely opened or closed.

It does the job!
Simple, easy to use cover. Easy fixing and not too difficult to open when needed. Good value for money compared to other for sale.If you need a cover, this one was the best quality for the best price that I could find having done some extensive research. Value Vs Quality.

Couple of big issues
OK the installation required some large washes on the fixing holes. There is a 3mm gap around which allows a small draft to come into the room. The biggest issue is the door itself needs to be opened using a knife or flat tool, the door is not spring loaded and does not have a handle so can be difficult to open in a hurry.

Neat access panel
I bought this so Openreach could access my phone line. Openreach do not make holes in walls. It was simple to install; I decided which way round I wanted it to open, and marked the top. Then I drew round the back in pencil. I wasn't sure if there were electric cables behind the plasterboard, so I used a Stanley knife to pierce along the lines, jabbing it in. Once I'd removed the square of plasterboard, the access panel wedged in neatly. I took it out again and put masonry filler round the edges to secure it, probably unnecessarily. The whole job took me a bit under an hour, and it looks very neat. The only minor problem is that to open it, you need a knife or similar tool. It's not amazingly robust, but won't be opened often. Before fitting, I sanded it and sprayed with plastic undercoat, so that when it was in situ I just had to paint it with emulsion to match the grey wall.
