– Extra Volume Shampoo

Lovely shampoo and fragrance,perfect for my fine hair.

I've been using Moroccanoil shampoo for around 20 years right from the days when I had a full head of hair 😂. Even though I've got noticeably less hair these days (at 79), I refuse to use anything else but switched to the Extra Volume version around 10 years ago, more in hope than expectation! However, what I've discovered about Moroccanoil and lather over the years may be useful to other users. First of all, less (but not too little) is definitely more. Although achieving a good foamy lather can be very satisfying it is not the be all and end all but if you use your hands to add more water (not more shampoo) you can create a more 'acceptable' lather resulting in an excellent end result and your (fairly expensive) shampoo will last significantly longer. I also rinse off thoroughly and personally don't feel the need to use a conditioner so I can't comment on that. Considering some of the cheaper shampoos I used all those years ago, before finding Moroccanoil, it beats all the others hands down and I would recommend anyone to at least try it.

This makes such a difference to my menopausal hair which goes greasy on the roots & very static.

Amazing when paired with their conditioner. Quantity is a little bit low. Quite effective I loved my hair when using this alongside the conditioner

I technically used street brands hair product all my life. Recently my hairdresser advised me to try paraben and sulphate free products as according to her these chemicals dries your scalp and hair and form a residue that just sits on your hair leading to many problems, like dull hair, split ends etc. I did some research, found Moroccanoil and decided to give it a go. I have been using both shampoo and conditioner for a while now and am absolutely amazed by the results and by how much of a difference a good hair product can do. It leaves my hair shiny, smooth, healthy-looking, non-frizzing and super, super soft. And after washing, my hair literally detangle on their own. These products are a little bit pricey, but very efficient. You only need a small amount of it each time. Thus, a single bottle will last much longer than that of a cheap street brand stuff. I highly recommend!

too expensive for the size

Is that it is true, use a tiny bit. I bought the travel one first to check I wanted to invest in a larger one and I will get hte larger one. The small bottle is handy for travel or to leave out as I wont use it every wash, but definitely before a night out etc.

I expect it was my fault for not reading it correctly but £10 for 2.4 OZ very expensive Can’t believe how stupid I am not worth the money probably a give away fir hairdressers my fault for not reading the description

It is my favorite brand for hair products. Always the best scent! I do swap it out every other wash because I do find it dries out my hair.
