Definitely do the job
If you’ve got spot lights in the house that have these clips then these are the clips to own. They fit perfectly and easy to install. They feel quite good quality for little bits of wire. So far none of the bulbs have fallen out!

does the job, though unlike originals the ends are in the same plane as the circular portion. For ease of removal had to bend these manually - but not a hard fix.

Whenn ordering bulbs these little clips make sense
We have a fair few halogen bulbs in kitchen, garden room and bathrooms and when a bulb goes it makes sense to have a replacement and one or two of these retaining clips just in case that decides to break as well. Not expensive, and handy to have in. Peace of mind all round.
