Returned the 'zinc-based' national-branded puck-locks to get these. 5 or 6 pin, seems to be as good as any, and better than all less expensive options.

Saved Trailer from being stolen
Sadly we have a neighborhood thief who made off with another trailer and tractor. I had this and a trailer defended hitch lock. The lock worked great. They attempted to drill it out and couldn’t do it in the time they had. The cylinder did get all messed up and the key did not work after they drilled it. I did have to get a lock smith out to remove the lock to pull the trailer hitch lock off. It took the lock smith 2 hours to drill out the cylinder and a couple hundred dollars. This was well worth the cost considering I had in the trailer a BMW M car which was what they tried to steal. Proved to me it worked to deter theft.

Box trailer friendly?
Very solid and substantial build. However I had to modify the clasps on my box trailer to make these locks work.
