You should follow the manufacturers instructions fully, as per the label on the bottle. It is essential to add coolant after treatment as this will help prevent your radiator overheating but also to prevent damage caused to engine/cooling systems at sub-zero temperatures. Water alone will freeze at zero celsius and if you do not use de-ionised or distilled water in your radiator, you are likely to introduce lime-scale and other impurities ito your cooling sytem. Coolant will also stop corrosion internally.

Drain and totally flush cooling system before using wondarweld. Wondarweld can stay in system afterwards. Did a brilliant job on my car.

Will this work on a diesel engine that's pressuring the coolant system and putting the coolant out of the tank

It could not work or it could completely cure it. ..... or anything inbetween. If you do use it , make sure that you flush the coolant out first very thoroughly. It worked for me.

I used Wondarweld twice, but it has not repaired the cracked block. Should the concentration increased for larger amounts of water in the system?

I tried various quick fix products to seal a crack in the head in my old car but none have completely stopped water dripping out. At best they have slowed the water loss, I followed the instructions to the letter. I am not sure increasing the concentration would help and may block other passageways. I am going to try and seal the crack from the outside, but then I do not have a pressurized cooling system. Good luck.

Love this stuff... got me out of a pickle a few times. This product is alot stronger and heavy duty compared to the usual rad weld. Looks like Bovril and smells awful but it does the job. Ive never used it to attempt a head gasket repair but in my experience it will seal all the usual problems in vehicle a water system. Recommended.

It's a bit like pedaling snake oil, once a head gasket has blown, it's blown and there's nothing you can do about it, I had a small leak where one cylinder was leaking exhaust gas into the cooling system, I was getting about 100 miles on average before having to top up as it was expelling a small amount through the radiator cap, I had a 350 mile journey to get back home so decided to try this snake oil and had it delivered to an amazon locker. The sealant came next day and I put it in the radiator, a thick treacle like substance, I thought it might help but I could not have been more wrong, the coolant frothed up and expelled the entire coolant within 30 miles spraying a thick white waxy coating over entire engine bay, really nasty mess, needless to say I won't be trying this stuff again. Wonder weld left me wondering alright, wondering why I even thought it might work.
