Is OK for what it costs. Nice discreet antenna, and amazing range and clarity. From high ground could talk to others 15-20 miles away, blasting through. From high ground in south Wales have heard others as far away as Weston-super-Mare and Dorset coast, but can't reply because I'm legal on an Alan 42 multi, as another poster has stated.And now the bad. No instructions what so ever, aside a basic diagram on how to assemble. And the worst of all was the swr. I had to cut this antenna a LOT before I got decent readings, and no, I don't have ground plane issues. I have had other antennas that are fine, almost out of the box. And trust me, you might need a little more than a hacksaw, it's tough.Would I buy again, yes it is worth the money most definitely, if you don't mind spending time on setup, and don't want a massive antenna because it would look stupid unless you have a 4x4 :)

Antenna is ok if you want to chat to your neighbours but it has got no range unless your on top of Ben nevis running 30 watts like previous comments of 50 mile range??. But it is neat and discreet if that's what you want. I have tried this antenna in various locations, in the sticks, high ground, inner city. Result is the same. I would like to point out, I did not buy this item from above vendor, just a general comment of my experience with this antenna.

Amazing antenna had to trim it 2cm to fine tune it but it came pretuned at 1.8 SWRThanks

Well made and works well. At first it was sent without the mag mount but they sorted it as quickly as they could.

Good little aerial

A great little antenna, have achieved TX distances of up to 50 miles by connecting this to my hand held Midland alan 42, and getting up into the hills. It is fairly small and discreet, if you don't want the huge "whip" type antenna. Easy to adjust for "tuning" , by either moving the tuning ring up or down or adjusting length. The mag mount has a rubber base so your paintwork will be safe. It has a very good grip. Arrived on time and well packaged.

Do not buy this ! Impossible to SWR and way over price ! No guidance or specifications included with this antenna. So you can't even guess the base load and whip length to calculate for SWR... Nuff said. Dreadful product

Had a small problem which the supplier sorted very quickly. It picks up very well without taking up too much hight. I have a few other mobile antennas and this one is the one that stays on the car. No problems with swr and easy to adjust if it's a bit out.Very impressed and would definitely buy again!
