RedeckerHand Brush With Wooden Handle, 30cm, Beechwood

Not used yet so can’t review properly but feels good quality

I have just taken delivery of this and I am majorly impressed. I have been creating a pile of sawdust and wood chipping in my workshop. Every surface has a coating of the damn stuff. I have swept the sawdust away with one sweep: this brush is dense and the horse-hair works like no soft brush I have used before. The surfaces and tools have emerged from the dusty mess.I can understand why it is so highly rated. These German guys know how to make a brush.My only gripe is the handle is way too skinny; it looks like a toy handle and even though I have not got the most butch hands on the planet they need something slightly bigger than the handle on this brush to be fully comfortable and for that I have deducted a star.Otherwise a great bit of kit.

The Redecker slit horsehair brush is great for dusting fabrics etc., and much easier than trying to use a vacuum (even a handheld stick such as a Dyson is more cumbersome). I bought it to dust lampshades initially, but have since found it is great to get dust out of the tiny crevices in my car. It doesn’t capture dust in quite the same way as a micro fibre , but it flicks it away instead, probably to settle elsewhere .. most likely the floor where it’s easy to vacuum. It’s a lovely thing to use!- looks and feels nicely made, and it very gentle. I’m more confident that it won’t damage the surface being cleaned than I would be with a micro fibre. Pricey but probably worth it. Buy quality, buy once..

Really nice soft but durable brush - we are decorating ( well re-building!) and are constantly sweeping up sawdust, plaster dust etc, and this brush does the job really well. It is also so gentle that you can brush down anything - I was even able to brush the fallout from the leaves of my plants and cactus.

Brushes off after joining no matter how wet it is .

The thing about the old type brushes is that the bristles didn't curl at the ends, causing dirt and fibres to get stuck. This is one of the old type brushes and even though it's just a hand brush, it is beautifully made. It'll last a long time.

Bought this due to a comment I read about using it for face brickwork when it was still pretty wet and no marks left after brushing. Tried it and he was right, awesome brush. Ben Nassau thinks so too
