Very quiet and works great!
For clarity, I purchased the 3pin 120mm 1000rpm BL047 version of this fan (NOT the 4pin PWM version). I purchased these to replace some Corsair fans that came with my AIO (280mm radiator H115i) The Corsair ones sounded like someone had a vacuum cleaner on. These ones on the other hand are quiet as anything (same speed as the Corsair ones were used at). I can say that these are less airflow than the supplied Corsair ones, BUT they do keep my temperatures at around 50 degrees when stress testing the CPU (the same as the previous Corsair ones). Also worthy of note is that they are not being used at the full 12V by me (as the Corsair ones weren't either). So if they can keep my temperatures down with that in mind, they should have no difficulty at 'normal' speed. Would I buy them again? Yes Would I recommend them? Yes Are they quiet? Yes they are - I can barely hear them with the PC sat next to me in a Lian Li Dynamic case (beautiful case BTW!). Which way around do I fit them? The logo side should be on the intake side (air in) and the tech details side is air out or exhaust. How quiet are they? At the speed I'm running them at, I could hear a fly fart! At full speed I would imagine they'll still be fairly quiet. I can only suggest that the people who say these are not as effective (air flow wise) as they imagined they should be, have either fitted them incorrectly (the wrong way around may be?) or are expecting something like a 12 inch fan for airflow from these. Also bear in mind, these rotate at half the speed of most 120mm fans. I have no idea how long these will last, but a 3 year warranty gives me some confidence in the product.

A breath of fresh air for my PC
This fan had lowered the temperatures in my PC by a couple of degrees and to be honest sometimes I forget it's even there - It's so quiet! For a long time I wanted to cover the unfiltered holes at the bottom of my PC case. One of these fantastic fans and a simple magnetic dust filter were all that I ever needed. I wouldn't mind if they were a bit cheaper though.

Great Performance
These are beyond simple to install. It varies more on the case than the fan but it should be pretty simple regardless. I bought 2 of these for the front of my H510 and they do really well, keeping things cool and remaining silent. Really good value and I'm considering getting another to replace the top exhaust fan should I have to. I'd definitely recommend

EDIT: Great cooling fans!
I'm re-writing my review as I managed to mount the fans as I recieved only some screws, but this doesn't change the fact that the fans are silent and provide adequate air flow. I got 2 to place in the top of my MSI Vampiric case and they take up pretty much the whole top slot for fans and create a nice flow through the case.

Made my PC quiet
I have the NZXT H510 case and the stock case fans were loud and some sort of buzzing noise. I bought 2 pairs of bequiet fans and installed one of them since the other one I bought was too big so I have ordered the right size. My PC is now really quiet, you legit can't hear the fan. Great fan.

Great value fans
Really happy with these, they are really quiet (obviously) even when they ramp up, compared to most fans they aren’t that distracting to have next to you when you’re playing. At idle or browsing I can hear them at all. They don’t have the best CFM so aren’t optimised for pulling air through radiators but they do a reasonable job.

Super!
I bought 2 to replace my side fans as one of the bearings have kinda gone and they are as described - quiet and they work, lovely! I also bought 2 more to replace my front fans as they have done the same as the latter.

Very quiet with excellent airflow
After purchasing the BeQuiet 802 case I wanted additional airflow out of the top of the case. Adding a 4th pure wings 2 made no discernable difference to noise but adds the right neutral balance through the case. Fully air cooled system and minimal noise!

One of the best!
After a year all 3 of the fans I purchased are still going strong, I still cannot hear them and cleaning them is comparable to every other fan except due to the ridges built into the blades they require a little more effort in cleaning a few areas. ---- I've purchased 3 of these fans and so far they operate silently after a year of use as intake / exhaust fans, they also move a lot more air than the default fans that came with my Fractal Design Define R4 which is why I originally purchased them. This fan only comes with a set of metal screws so if you want soft plastic / sound dampening mounts you'll have to pay a bit extra to get some from somewhere else. I would highly recommend this fan to anyone looking for a quieter alternative to a Corsair fan and a cheaper option compared to a Noctua fan without sacrificing quality.

Un must-have ! Climaxe

Bought two in the past few years and might buy more in the future!
About four years ago I built my own computer. I have a Corsair 300R case and from the get-go I used the stock fans that came preinstalled. About a year in one started to make a grinding noise and I replaced it with one of the Pure Wings 2 fans, and was left impressed right away with how easy it was to install the new fan as well as the low noise level they had at max RPM. The second time and more recently my front chassis fan was making a loud grinding noise as well (which may have definitely been the bearings going out) so I went with a brand I knew and bought another one of these fans. This time around it was just as easy although the screws were too big so I had to reuse the screws from the stock fan. Again, quiet again as always. I would very much recommend going with these fans if you want a middle-ground between quiet and affordable. Three years later with one of these fans and have had no problems, so hopefully the one I have just purchased and installed will also be the same. My only complaint is the pricing of these fans on Amazon, whereas other outlets offer them cheaper - except consider the fact Amazon would be the only place to get faster shipping.
