A Massive Time Saver. Recommended!
What a handy gadget this is! I've just finished fitting traditional paneling and skirting boards to a slightly asymmetrical bay window, and I shudder to think of doing the same job without the help of this tool. It can be used for two purposes:1) To obtain a simple angle by placing it in a corner and adjusting the two arms to match. I did this when cutting new floor boards to fit up against the bay.2) To obtain the half-angle, when mitering two pieces of moulding into a corner. The half angle is obtained directly from the metal flag, mounted on the hinge. It's internally geared and rotates more slowly than the arms - a clever feature. This is the really big advantage of this tool, and the reason I purchased it. Having obtained the angle I take my Treanglefix over to a mitre saw, or more usually now, Festool MFT/3 Multifunction Table and transfer it directly, setting the mitre angle by offering the flag up parallel to the cut line. It's super-easy, saves a ton of time and hassle, and gives me surprisingly accurate joints.Ease of movement of the solid plastic arms can be adjusted via the screw on the hinge. I have mine tightened up fairly well to keep it stiff to avoid accidental errors after I've taken an angle. If I lost mine I'd buy another one immediately - my tool box would be incomplete without it.

Spot on
Very handy tool for dividing angles on the mitre saw. Saves messing around with angles and spot on when used carefully.

Unknown angles made simple
Easy to use, takes the guess work out of getting the correct angle for cutting on the electric saw, would recommend, just make sure you are cutting from the side of the saw you want the angle for, have a few practice runs on some scrap timber, you might only use it a few times a year so better to refresh the old grey matter on a scrap bit first.

Good
Good tool to have, finds angles for mitres with ease, only problem is that it can be confusing when placing on chop saw when doing a lot of cuts on moulded trim, you still have to note the angle is being cut off chop saw

Ok, but not really good enough for professional use
It's OK for internal angles. But a piece of metal 1 inch long is next to useless to line up against a 12 inch saw blade with any real accuracy. If you're a millimetre out, then you'll have a gap of 2mm on your joint on 6" skirting board. Just think about that...And for extremal angles it's frankly garbage.I wish I'd bought a traditional angle measure and learnt to use it. This thing isn't accurate enough.

Very easy to use
Very simple to use for setting up mitres on the mitre saw. Very accurate, checked with digital angle unit and within 0.5 degree.
