This case works very nicely. I use a tiny amount of lip balm to lubricate the camera lens slider. Just apply it with a tooth pick and be sparing. The door slides very easily that way and I don't have to reapply it very often.

So the first cover I wasn't able to use, the camera cover was just way too stiff and I had to use a lot of force to get it to slide. Even after adding some silicone spray, it was not usable. I returned it and ordered a new one, seeing that someone else had tried that and their next one was much better. The new one I received was better, but definitely not great, so I rubbed a candle on the sides of the camera slide and slid it back and forth multiple times. That actually took care of it, and it works well now. I would have liked for it to slide a little bit better still, but there's definitely a fine line there as you also want it to stay in place. The wax has not gotten on the camera lenses at all, but I also only applied it to the sides of the slide.One big concern was whether I could add a pop socket to this cover, since the cover has a raised pattern. That has so far worked very well, it definitely sticks really well. There IS a raised striped pattern on this case, but it isn't very raised, and the stripes are skinny enough that there is a good amount of surface for the sticky portion of the pop socket to hang on. In fact, when I tried to remove it to reposition, I had to pry really hard at it to get it off. So I'm very satisfied with that.Overall the case seems to protect the phone well. The top and bottom of it sticks out just a tiny bit, just enough to keep the glass from sitting directly on the table when you put it down upside down. It's not very obvious when you just look at it, but when I really looked I could see that the glass was not touching. I have dropped my phone a couple of times inside the house, so nothing dramatic, but it's kept my phone safe. No issues. It is also easy to hold and grip, it's not slippery by any means. The color is also accurate, it's a little bit lighter than navy. A medium-dark blue, just not very dark.

Case is good, solid and durable. Camera cover keeps dust out and lens protected. Slim design so phone doesn't feel bulky in your hand.

This does what it’s supposed to do by protecting the phone, but I like the additional feature with the cover for the camera. It easy went on over my screen protector and has a secure feel when carrying it. I began to drive off with the phone left on top of the car. I drove several blocks but the phone did not slide off, so it deserves a great rating for that alone.
