After my last disappointing experience at the hairdresserI started relaxing my own hair. I read reviewson what would be the best over-the-counter no-lye relaxerand after two attempts realized how badly that typeof relaxer dried out my hair.I always heard good things about the Affirm product lineand decided to order the fiberguard relaxer. I couldn'tbelieve how well it worked. I also couldn't believe that afterpaying over $60 dollars each individual visit to the hairdresserI now have close to a year's worth of relaxer where my resultssurpass what I have been paying for from thehairdresser. I am truly one satisfied customer.

So I wanted to be able to wash my hair and it just air dry and look decent. I posted my before hair when I wash it and I just hated it. I usually wear my hair up because it was so hard to manage. I refused to cut it short because it looks so bad short because it’s so thick. Long story short I was not sure if this product would work on my hair. I was very nervous to try it but was ready to let my hair fall out if it didn’t work. I was pleasantly surprised with the results of this product. I purchased the 4 step process and had my sister do my relaxer at home. I think the photos say it all. I can now wear my hair down and not be miserable. I’m so glad I tried this product, I will definitely be using it from now on.

I am so happy! After 3 applications so far my hair has gotten longer and is healthier. I use the whole system. The only thing is that you have to apply it fast if your scalp is sensitive or burns fast. It’s so worth the price.

After 5 or 6 years of wearing my hair natural, I was ready to straighten my hair again but didn't want it "bone straight." I wanted to keep some natural texture and this perm works great for that. When my hair was relaxed years before, I couldn't get it to hold a curl to save my life which is one of the reasons why I got so sick of relaxed hair. This perm is a nice midway option. After perming my hair with this product, it is very easy and less expensive to maintain than my natural hair (I spent lots of $$$ always searching for products to control and style with). I simply wash my hair, put Dabur Vatika Hair Oil 300ml (Pack of 2 Bottles) in it, and style or braid it so that it air dries. When I release my braid, my hair holds those curls for days. I don't use any blow dryers, flat irons or curling irons on my hair as I used to when my hair was relaxed before. With the help of this product, I'm very happy I went "un-natural."

I've been relaxing my own hair for nearly 15 years now and this is the worst relaxer product I've ever used.Does it get the new growth straight? Yes.Is it easy to use and low on chemical odors? Yes.Will you be bald with continued use of the product? YES.I saw my shoulder length, healthy relaxed hair coming out in long thick clumps of strands EVERY TIME I ran my hand through my hair in the shower. It shed just as bad when it was dry. After the second use, I went back to the Mizani neutralizer just to see if it would stop the shedding (which it did, a little).This relaxer caused major breakage like I've never seen (and hope to never see again). I don't even heat style or blow dry. It was shocking how much hair I lost, a ton of breakage at the nape of the neck creeping up towards the crown on one side (looks like someone snipped at it with trimming scissors). I don't even wear my hair up anymore, waiting for the damage to grow back out.After 3 applications, threw out the entire tub.Back to Mizani while I still have hair left.
