I got these for my autistic son as he has taken a liking to cooking but doesnt understand the safety of knives and loves to act like gordan ramsay when chopping veg, so we purchased this set and i can relax a bit knowing he is safer when cutting.Peeler nice and sharp just yet to try the blade chopper

Good set for my little girl, think the metal cutting thing is a bit random and not safe for my daughter but the actual knives seem very good and she enjoys using them!

We have been using this set for two weeks and I’m impressed. Its really good for children.Although plastic, the peeler is sharp enough for cucumbers and carrots. We adults then slice them lengthwise so they lay flat on the chopping board. For carrots the metal slicer works fine but the knives are not really sharp enough for carrots.The knives are great for most things except very hard veg.Would definitely recommend this for children, and even for adults, to do most things except hard veg when the metal slicer is better.

So on the whole these are ok. The knives will pretty much only cut soft fruit but the metal on was great, I tested the end and didn’t cut myself or anything and my daughter was able to cut carrots. HOWEVER, please be aware that the corners are very sharp and my daughter cut her finger this way. We’re going to see if we can blunt the edges because I still think it’s a good tool and want her to be interested in cooking but do think people need to be aware for your little ones. Careful of the edges.

I was sceptical at first being plastic, but they are very safe, light and easy for the kids to use. Clean easy and sharp enough to cut most foods, although the Waggu Steaks were a little too tough for them, we do enjoy all our veggies crinkly cut now

I have been wanting to get my kids involved with cooking but always too nervous with knifes. These are safe and work well.

My boy loves to help me in the kitchen. These knives able him to perfectly. It's not great with really hard veg like pots and carrots but with the right technique it still does the job. They're sharp enough to work with but definitely won't cut any fingers. The peeler is plastic but works amazingly! I find My self reaching for it over my metal one.
