Delishous and smooth!!
Delicious smooth coffee.FYO: My measures for 8oclock coffee brand, was not enough for this one. Too weak. So add a extra scoop to what you usually do.This coffee would be good for people who get heartburn or indigestion from other coffee.

To replace coffee when having stomach problems
My great mother did not like blue dandelion because it reminded her of WWII when there was no coffee available, but she always précised that chicoree was much healthier than coffee. I love Italian coffee, but at the moment it is not an option, so naturally I thought of my distant cajun cousins in New Orleans who drink chicoree mixed with coffee. I wanted a brand with a product that would not be too processed. This one I did not know promotes a natural and organic product. The price is reasonable, especially because there is 1 pound in the package. It is written tiny footprint, eco-friendly already ground product, but it stills come from Peru... anyway the taste is good. I recommend two teaspoons for a single cup. Contrarily to the French one, this one is not soluble. Use a French press eventually but let the chicoree pieces sit a little bit for a better and denser flavor. Chicoree or blue dandelion contains zinc, vitamin C, beta-carotene (eyes and skin) and magnesium (which is good for the neurologic system and helps if you are anxious). Suppositively, it would benefit the digestive function. Plants have medicinal properties and what is good for me might not be great for you. That being said anything that one drinks, or eats, should be with moderation and common sense.

Like the previous reviewer, Jay, I too have been making cold brew coffee for over 5 years
...and I've bought many different brands searching for the best tasting beans. I probably won't throw out the rest of this large bag like Jay did, but I also found it to make a rather sour-tasting cold brew. I tried it "green", while it had only been sitting for eight or nine hours, and it wasn't too bad, but after 14 hours—woof! Very bright and sour-acidic. Not my favorite, that's for certain.I was going to try Tiny Footprint's Cold Press Elixir Cold Brew, just because, well, y'know—Cold Brew? But now I'm not so sure, especially since Tiny Footprint doesn't specify which beans are in their Cold Press Elixir Cold Brew other than a "mix of our light and dark roasts spiked with our best Ethiopian coffees."I'm usually not a big fan of Ethiopian coffees, because they are generally considered to be quite "bright," fruity, and floral and I sort of prefer chocolatey, caramel-y, and nutty. On the other hand, my favorite coffees are the true Mocha Java blends, which besides Indonesian Java beans (probably Sumatran), just wouldn't be the same without the bright and fruity "spike" of Yemeni Mocha—so maybe...

Bought 91 pounds of this coffee... It's good, great taste, tiny footprint.
Grind it daily for my french press and drink a pot of it. No complaints. There is surely better coffee out there, but for a reliable daily pot this is an easy choice, especially knowing it has an ethical supply chain.

Really wanted to like it
I love that the company is trying their best for the environment, I really want to support that. This coffee however was really not good. It tasted sour, maybe even rancid. It smells bad. I got a refund luckily. I guess I'll be putting it in the compost. I really really feel bad about this but I hope they'll see the reviews and change whatever it is about the beans or how they're roasted and hopefully will start to taste better.I did get the ground ones, maybe whole bean would be better.
