Fit for purpose.
I've used a lot of different "Liquid electrical tape" before, but this feels slightly different to what I've bought before. Usually the stuffs got a consistency similar to that of runny honey, and sets into a rubbery substance. This stuff's thicker. It's almost, but not quite like thick epoxy before it cures, and afterwards it's really quite hard (Like chewing gum .from the underside of some old school desk)........ I'm not doing a very good job of describing this am I. :D.Like all the stuff I've used before, It STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN THE WHOLE TIME IT'S CURING !!!! So don't use it first thing in some little workspace you're going to be spending the rest of the day in. The stuff that evaporates out of this can only be described as "Migraine inducing evil", so follow the usual precautions before cracking open the tin (Ventilation, No naked flames, Let your next of kin know where you are, Checked your will's up to date....... usual stuff. :D).After it's cured it's REALLY stuck on there, but because of it's consistency, and how hard it is after it's set, I'd say this is more of a terminal insulating compound that something to use on wire splices. So far I've only used this stuff to insulate the directly soldered connections I made to a bank of small lead acid batteries, and for that it was perfect, I could push the compound under and all around the terminals, while curing it self levelled slightly, and when set it's not going to get crushed off.All in all, while not necessarily the product I was expecting, it's definatly something that will be better suited in certain use cases than the rubbery gunk I usually buy.

Not runny at all and sets quite stiff too
The one I received was more like a gel than a liquid, it would never drip like the photo and it is difficult to apply a thin even coating. Also it sets quite stiff compared to insulation tape but that may not be a disadvantage unless you need it to flex. Not sure yet how resilient it is.
User
Good, use it quickly before it dries
This was used for waterproofing the electric garage door key fob. It works well and did the job, however you have to work quickly as it dries quickly and leaves streaks. Can't say it looks the prettiest, but that might be due to lack of experience in applying.

Very happy
Good product works very well.

naff
One of these was fully set in the tin so when i removed the lid the brush was stuck in a solid lump of rubbery platic and the other was partially solidified. So not great, should have really returned them!
User
Hard to spread the plastic
In my opinion of the liquid electoral tape, I found it very difficult to spread the adhesive around the components sometimes I would add too much adhesive and other time it would be too little when brushing on to the componentIt was also too thick and wished it would be more runny and after drying would be more flexible
User
As described good quality
