One of the lamps not working

Assumming that you are using the correct batteries and have not reversed the normal alignment (+ and - Polarity) :- (Check that you are) 1: Try the batteries in another unit. If it works. Then it is not the batteries !. 2: Check for an obstruction (EG A piece of paper obstructing the battery contacts.). 3: Check for EG Loose parts. (But DON'T attempt any repair if so. This will invalidate any warranty.) 4: If other units work but not a particular one. then: A: Attempt to contact the seller. (May have useful advice ?.) Or may send a replacement unit. B: Return unit under warranty. RMF.

Can rechargeable batteries be used?

I think not. I have used ordinary batteries.

What is the battery life like?

I have been using mine on and off for about 7 hours now. That's just one of them. Been happy with the amount of light and no sign of it weakening as yet. Hope this helps

the colour of the lanterns is black in the photographs but the description gives the colour as white. Is it possible to buy them in black please?
