Current Best-in-Class Folio Case for Surface Pro 9, with great customer service
The media could not be loaded. I'll preface the review by saying that it's not easy to design a slim folio case for the Surface Pro, especially with the detachable keyboard AND a rear lower kickout stand. Add in all the magnetic sensors around the Surface Pro that trigger it to shutoff and it becomes a nightmare.I'm an in-office user with occasional trips to jobsites or overseas.I DON'T need to personalize my Surface Pro exterior, I definitely DON'T need random prints on the case. I almost always use the keyboard, which if you don't already know costs an additional $199.I DO need something that's slim enough for office settings while also providing decent drop protection for both the tablet AND the keyboard.I've tried the Fintie folio but experienced the exact same problems everyone complained about. The magnets in the case interfered with the Surface Pro and causes it to randomly shut off. The stitch and assembly quality was suspect ... the plastic holder was glued onto the fabric case and camera opening was misaligned. I've NOT tried the Spigen (identical style) or the Fintie Hardcase (which has no protection for the expensive keyboard).I've looked at Kensington (comparable price) and UAG (very expensive), but those are designed more for field settings, are bulkier, and built more to protect the tablet. The keyboard is somewhat of an afterthought, with straps allowing you to secure it to the case. So again, no protection for the keyboard. My last try came down to the Infiland Case and Cover. It met my requirements and thankfully has had no issues with random shutoffs. The case has a low profile even with the leather keyboard cover, enough to easily slip into envelope compartments in a bag, and makes it look professional in the office. Sure they only have 2 colors at the moment, but if you're as boring as I am, it doesn't matter. It does have a MUCH better fit compared to the Fintie, but you'll notice that tolerances were designed in for the power cable side so there ends up being a tiny, somewhat unnoticeable gap.The USB-C port openings are somewhat restrictive ... you'll have difficulty fitting in a USB3.0-USBC adapter unless you get one with a cable extension. That's annoying if you're using a 2.4GHz mouse (with USB receivers) or older USB 3.0 thumbdrives. But you may not care if you use a Bluetooth/USBC mouse and have USB-C thumbdrives.Opening the kickout stand does take some getting used to. It's easiest to (1) flip the tablet open, (2) hold the lower half of the tablet with both hands, (3) use your middle or bottom few fingers to pop open the kickstand. Else the rubber clasps may not always hold on tight enough to the kickstand if you're using one-hand.I can't complain much since it's the current best-in-class for folio covers. That and I'm genuinely impressed with the constant outreach for feedback from customer service.Looking forward to a better iteration of this product.

Built like a tank - and weighs as much!
On my other 2 older Surface Pros, I have Finitie cases which look very similar to this, and ultimately for my new Surface Pro 11 I am going with Finitie. However, this is still a great case. If I never tried Finitie, I'd keep this.Pros:1) Built like a tank. There is much more rubber material at the perimeter to protect your device2) Interesting built-in kick stand holder. On the other cases I've tried, you need to put on a separate piece for the kickstand, here it's built into the case and can freely move on a flap, with rubber ends that kinda click onto your kickstand.3) Keyboard bottom cover - I have not seen this before. The case has a flap that holds a protective shield that covers your keyboard and does a great job of it. If you remove the keyboard, it will cover and protect your screen, however it will not perfectly align to the screen - I think it uses magnets for the keyboard, and the screen doesn't have magnets in those locations. It also doubles as a half decent desk for your legs - the bottom cover stays put, you sorta move your keyboard closer to you, and you have more support than just your legs alone with the kickstand.Cons:1) Not as pretty as the Finitie - comes in black, I think purple and silver. I wanted blue to match my surface2) HEAVY. I didn't put it on a scale, but I'd guess it weighs maybe MORE than twice the Finitie - between the heavier rubber (good thing) and the keyboard cover (mixed blessing)3) I believe it is a little bulkier.Between 2 and 3, it was a deal breaker for me. I wanted a case that would stand up to every day light usage and transport between my home and office (this case would do that and then over achieve) however I also wanted a case for flying - and I feel this case would be too bulky in my backpack with my other gadgety goodness. All in all, if you want more protection than decoration, this may be the case for you. It says military grade - not sure I believe that, but I do say it appears much more durable than the Finitie case.

Luckily it's cute
The media could not be loaded. I'm super happy it came in light purple since I was able to match it to the rest of my items! Beyond that it's Just Fine. Better than no case.It does however have a very floppy "hinge" that makes it kind of awkward, and not secure when closed. When you've got the kickstand up it allows for a lot of movement, which I'm not sure if it's a pro or a con.Then1. I wish it was magnetic like many of the ipad cases, it would be great if it stayed closed2. it would be SUPER nice if it woke up or put to sleep the screen like the ipad cases do.But when I was looking at the Microsoft Surface keyboardfolio it didn't seem to wake the screen either, so it may just be a flaw on Microsoft's end for not designing the Surface to do that.

Convenient
No consumer electronics product is safe around our house, so any form of "protective armor" is a superb idea. This case is not the least expensive, but it has the virtue of full protection, while allowing easy access to the computer when necessary. It also facilities the "kickstand" feature built in to the Surface by having a non-slip area that keeps the screen at a comfortable angle. In all, this item will give one the confidence that your tablet will maintain undamaged while being transported about for quite some time. The bonus is that it is possible to leave the keyboard attached and everything still fits well.
