Great product! Energising too!

After using this for a few weeks now, I don't think it makes any difference to my diet. I'm disappointed.

Have bought before elsewhere

Having started an alternative product trial, I asked my OH to test these. The capsules are well pavkaged, easy to swallow, the instructions are comprehensive and the blister packaging guarantees hygiene. He has been taking them for 2 weeks though and has seen no results so far.

I liked the concept behind this product. The packaging and information are good. However, it failed to state the caffeine content. I understand this is negligible, but would have been useful to have it confirmed. Other key ingredients apart from green (unripe) coffee beans, are raspberry ketones and a portfolio of other ingredients associated with "burning calories", for example, cayenne pepper, African mango seed, green tea extract, blueberry extract and chicory root. Rather a gimmick, as you could probably introduce these items into your diet yourself, apart from the mango seed. It also includes Carnitine (found in nuts and seeds, such as pumpkin) and chromium "for metabolism and weight management". A salad nicoise would be a good source for balanced chromium intake. Chromium helps stabilise the glucose-insulin uptake in the pancreas and has knock-on effects on cholesterol and blood sugar. OK: the bottom line. I weighed myself beforehand. Just the idea of weight management, was enough to make me more conscious of the need for exercise and vigilance in diet. I thought this would be enough to have a placebo effect at least, if not scientifically measureable. Two weeks later, I got on my scales sure I'd lost a few pounds, so imagine my disappointment to discover I was one pound heavier than when I started, perhaps two. Good points: it is vegetarian/vegan and the ingredients are free from "baddies": yeast, gluten, sugar, salt, dairy, soya artificial colour, preservatives and flavourings. The capsules are on pop-sealed foil. Bad point: although admittedly, I was not "on a diet" per se, the lack of weight loss means I can only give it three stars. It could be because I am an avid coffee drinker anyway, and already eat lots of spicy food. I note it contains almost exactly the same ingredients in the same quantities - and the capsules look the same, although not pop-sealed - as this product SlimX 1000 Ultra Formula Thermogenic Weight Loss Supplement for those amongst us who like to compare products before buying. SlimX-1000 also differs in that it also includes konjac fibre and bladderwrack extract. It gives its caffeine content as 84mg. SlimX-1000 has a red gelatin shell, so not vegetarian. (Comparisons are odious, except when comparing food supplements!)

Taking these caps as described, 1 cap twice a day. I haven't noticed any changes to how i feel after meals. I still eat the same quantities of food. Regular meals throughout the day at regular intervals. Which have a mixture of proteins, carbs and fats. No side effects to report. No benefits either. No accelerated fat loss. No additional energy from the caffeine content. But I'm not someone who is very reactive to caffeine content in products anyway. I can see these being useful, purely as a placebo for someone whose diet has somewhat stagnated. Just giving them that edge in their mind that they may need.
