Richard 13415 Elegance Trim Brush with Soft Grip Handle, 5/8"

Excellent brush. A life saver. Easy to hold and smooth application. It’s like holding a pencil. Made cut in for ceilings and trim so much easier and without taping. Very little to no dripping and easy to clean. Brush bristles maintain shape and no loose bristles. I love this brush. I am a novice painter who is having to paint many rooms alone. Can’t say enough about how much this brush made my life so much easier. I suffer with nerve damage in my leg so up on ladder to cut in top of wall near ceiling is challenging but this brush made it so much easier with little to no mistakes. I wish I never spent all the money on the regular type of brushes or those trim pads.

I was skeptical that such an odd shaped brush would be able to paint a straight line. I was pleasantly shocked at how easy this brush is to use and how effortless it delivers a straight line. I cut in on the ceiling and the line was perfect. I painted the wall above the baseboard trim without taping it, prefect. A must have brush to save time and effort when painting.

I work at a large scenic and prop design company. There are many many times that edging is required when painting for large corporate clients. These brushes are excellent instead of having to flip over or constantly dip a conventional flat edging brush, you can just load this with paint and it's almost like a marker. It is very easy to control and get into corners. It almost acts like a mop brush for those of you that are familiar with watercolor brushes. When it dries it doesn't have a bunch of stray hairs. All you have to do to retain it s original shape is dip it in the paint. I bought two sizes of this brush. They helped me immensely with some urgent projects. They are just the right size and since they are round instead of flat? it is easier to go around curved edges. And they do hold a lot of paint so you can use them to paint in areas around where you're working as well. I haven't had a bristle fall out of this yet. And the two or three bristles that did seem to want to curl away and become a problem? I just trimmed off with a small pair of scissors. I plan on ordering more. I currently have the one inch and the 3/4. Some smaller ones would come in extremely handy. The handle is sort of a rubbery grip and slightly flexible so you can really get a good grip on it. It's also helps with cleaning. Because when you're trying to get water out of the bristles you can hit it on the edge of something without worrying about breaking the handle. Plus the slight flexibility gives it sort of a whipping effect that throws out more of a water to help it dry. It really is a lifesaver if you're doing edging. You can literally see what you're doing no matter what angle you hold the brush.

This brush didn’t work for me. I prefer cutting in with a tapered flat brush. The quality does appear to be good, though. Update - 6/8/20 I tried using the brush on the partitions that separate each windowpane. To my surprise it work extremely well. I raised the star rating from a 2 star to 4 stars. The brush works very well for specific applications.

This brush is just awesome for cutting in trim or painting window sashes. It doesn't hold as much paint as a regular cut in type brush but its extremely well balanced and easy to use. I'm definitely not a professional painter, I'm a General Contractor, but I got professional type results with this brush. Its like painting with a big Sharpie. You can't beat the price and its very well made and cleans up easy. Highly recommended

I have purchased many of these little brushes! They are perfect for detail work. I used while painting the interior of my windows. I did not even need painter's tape because you can get so precise with these. Perfect for any small job! After I completed my painting I purchased over more to have on hand. Tip: when taking a break from painting put your brush in a zip lock bag in the refrigerator instead of washing it. This works for overnights, and your paintbrush will not dry out for days. Got it for a project of painting large words in cursive... basically like hand/brush lettering...without stencils. It is working great 👍 Soft bristles. Everything about the brush feels sturdy and of good quality

BEST BRUSH FOR TRIM! I painted all trim in my house in a matter of 3 days with this brush. The paint went on smoothly and bristles got in all the grooves and corners with ease. Not to mention I had NO hand cramping which is absurd for me. My husband wasn’t happy that I bought yet another brush but this is definitely the LAST brush I will buy when it comes to edging, trim or other small projects with hard to paint areas. It also cleaned up really well as you can see in my picture.

I've been using these brushes for trim and baseboards for a couple years and they do such a good job I don't bother with tape any more. Saves a ton of time and effort.

Love this little brush. Didn't know what I was getting when I got it, and because of how amazing this little thing is, I bought another one. Probably going to buy another one sometime soon. It is perfect for Trends. I haven't needed to use tape for trimming since I bought this thing and I am not a good painter, by any means, I kind of suck, but, this little brush has saved me so much time. Would buy this by the dozen.
