The hook and eye catch is fine. It looks like it will stand usage for a significant period of time. But no scrtews are included so you will need to find or go out and purchase the appropriate screws before installation.

It seems to be well made, and hasn’t tarnished at all after more than two months. The brass screws are very soft - I used better spec. ones from my toolbox.

Good solid brass. Swivels just as it should.

I ordered this twice: the first time it came with very poor quality screws which quickly became unusable due to the screw head disintegrating. The second time it came with no screws at all. That said, the hook and catch are very sturdy and I would still buy again if I needed another.
