With proper soil planting and watering, this will produce results. You must be vigilant in the beginning. Otherwise, do not expect results.

This grass seed is awesome- super quick growth and fills in great! I used this to fill in a few dead spots from my dogs peeing in the yard and it worked super quick! Really easy to get fast results, I raked up some of the dead grass, threw seeds in, and had a sprinkler on a timer water the seeds twice a day. Little seedlings popped up super quick and have been holding up great even with how hot and dry this summer has been. Great value and results, I have already ordered a second larger bag to fill in other spots.

Honest review. I had to buy two of these at least to be able to cover my backyard. Some did germinate and some did not. I followed the instructions and saw progress in some areas and not so much in others. I don't think any grass seeds are there 100% effective. You'll also need more than what you think you'd need. But at the end if you're patient you'll see results. My backyard has a lot of weeds and crabgrass that I've been fighting to get rid off but it's been impossible. So I'm like you know what green is green. I don't care for a perfect lawn, I just want to cover the big patches I had and it has helped honestly. Backyard looks like a jungle right now because I've been waiting for the grass to grow enough before I can mow it. Just try your luck and be patient. You'll see some before photos and after. Don't kind the crabgrass lol.

I used this to help fill in some thinner and bare areas of my lawn, and I really like how easy it was to spread. The seed coverage was good, and with consistent watering and proper care, I started seeing new growth. It’s a convenient option when you’re trying to improve the appearance of your lawn without completely starting over.

Let the buyer be aware! The ad for this product says it is one lb, which 1would be 16 ounces, not so! it is really more like 12 ounces. If you order it on line expect to be disappointed when it arrives literally in a brown manila envolpe sized package. The bag delivered to me had broken open inside the envelope and the seed was loose in the package. Know this, you spread this by hand, not with your Scotts Broadcaster because again you are dealing with ounces. Germination, is iffy because there is so little product to be scattered across the gaps in your lawn, there is certainly not enough for overseeding. If you are trying to start a new lawn for an average sized residential home, you will need ten or more of these envelopes. Suffice it to say, this is not representative of what we have come to expect from a Scotts product. Save your money or expect less. One star from my experience.

Warning. This covers up to 8000 sq ft only if overseeding. A new lawn is only 2500 sq ft of coverage. This was not enough to cover my yard making this product overpriced. Also the item's post says the bag contains about 49% bermuda grass seed. When the bag came it was only 38% grass seed, 51 inert matter and the rest clay. Feel like I was duped. I'll know more if/when the seeds germinate.

The BEST SEED! I Wasted $100 on another brand & got weird weak growth that barely grew then died. Ordering more SCOTTS!!!

These seeds really grew. I have never grown grass before but I have a spot that was bare and decided to try this. I am ordering another bag to plant in another spot.

I have bought Scott’s before, many times. Sometimes it works very well and others not well at all. The Bermuda grass seed (2 bags), I bought, produced not a single blade of grass. Followed instructions as always. Very disappointing considering the expense, time and energy. Nature of the product I think.

After 13 days, good weather and watered daily, not one single seed has germinated on a newly landscaped yard. Local nursery says it's likely been bagged in a warehouse too long just more Amazon warehouse garbage

I’ve purchased this seed before and it is great Not happy though it’s been six days since it should have arrived. With only tracking info from just after purchased two weeks ago . 5 stars on the product, one star for Amazon not updating the tracking information
