Got these for a great price for our dog! Work great and durable! Perfect size and not loud so she is not spooked.

Working as expected. Some of the reviews said that the trimmer did not last long. I ran it for ~15 minutes at a time and let it cool down. I also cleaned and oiled the blades. It is well worth the price and I would buy it again.

Easiest to see what you're trimming with light source on the carpet shining low across carpet. (trims my hair better than most hair trimmers :-)

I love these shears, they worked perfectly for my project. It is important that you continue to clean them, especially when you are using them with thicker wool, but that is just require required maintenance.

It does work. It’s kinda tricky to se up properly and there is a learning curve to use it properly. I used a brush on the carpet to set the burrs up and learned to come at them at the right angle made the trimming go faster.

I'm really impressed with this rug trimmer! As a beginner in rug making, I was a bit nervous about using trimming tools, but this one is super user-friendly. This carpet trimmer does a good job at actually trimming carpet. The adjustable speed feature is especially welcome, as is the long cord. However, the enclosed user's manual is nearly unintelligible. It was written by a non-English speaker. Instructions for using the trimming combs are missing or utterly unintelligible. In addition, the shearing guide does not work well. No matter how tightly it is fastened to the handle, the angle and level of the clipping shears changes--completely negating the guide's purpose. I found that it was much easier and more effective to simply hold the clipper in my hand to guide it where I wanted it to go. If your job is relatively simple, this trimmer will handle it. For something more elaborate that requires using the enclosed attachments, beware.

A really efficient and effective tool that made an excellent job of trimming a hand made wool rug. I have no hesitation in giving this a 5 star rating.
