Yes they are flimsy and thin but I put one container inside another one. Don't think I needed to do that but they send you so many. It stood up just fine once I put the soil and plant inside it and watered it. As the picture shows I put them inside a bowl to catch any water or soil that leaks out. I detected no smell as others have noted. I used them for avocado, pecan and red oak trees.

What a joke. Paper thin, almost like a trash bag. No support at all -- sides nor base. Smells highly chemically -- I would not start edible vegetables in this for fear of leaching. Zero stars. Immediate return.

Giving 4 stars, as they do their job These are thin so don't expect sturdy to stand on their own. They did have a plastic smell but peel them apart and air them outside for a night as it's gone. No issues with the product, they drain properly, have enough drain holes, easy to add more with a hole punch if needed. I am using them to root cuttings and I recommend getting a box or a cement mixing tub to stack them in to keep them upright.

These pots are pretty much paper thin. But from reading all the other reviews that was expected. The main worry was will these git r done. The answer so far is yes, git n was done. I only expect these to last about 2 spring plantings. Would be a lot nicer if they were a little cheaper. Price doesn’t seem to match the product. But over all I think that they are useable. I give it one out of two thumbs up.

I wasn't sure how these would work, but they are proving to be a great addition to my plant starting. they are proving great for getting plant starts I had ripped out of the landscape to root or recover. There is enough depth to get "starts" in deep enough and they are proving to be durable enough to reuse. 6 or so stand nicely in a 5-gallon bucket and afford me a way to keep them moist.

look at the great pictures that the seller has on this product and compare it to my actual photos. You get what you pay for. THese are by far the thinnest pots that I have ever bought and not looking nearly as nice as the stock photos. I need them right away otherwise I would return them. I excpet they are a one time use pot. I'm giving them 2 stars because they do hold soil but cannot recommend.

I bought these to put plants in so I can put them in all shapes and sizes of decorative planters, the kind that don't have drainage. These are so perfect because they are flexible to get through a small opening and I can cut them for any height of planter. FYI they won't just stand alone but I love the flexibility so for me that is not a problem.

Perfect for up potting seeds. They are very thin but what we needed ti temporarily transplant pur veggies until they need larger pots.

Flexible pots. I had 20+, 12"-14" cuttings of my angle trumpet tree to pot up after they rooted. I used about 4 cups of potting media per pot, still have another 4" - 6" until top rim. These containers are flexible, made with slick material. This makes it easier to pull cuttings up to add more soil if plants become root bound before I they're ready to sell. I'm satisfied with my purchase. I will purchase again if/when needed.

These pots were the right size for what we needed them for; however, the smell of them were awful. They smelled like garbage bags. We returned them since we didn't feel it was safe to grow plants in them that we intended to eat after.
