So much better than just using a blade
So much better than a stanley blade, takes the fletching off but alot harder to damage the carbon on the shaft

It strips fletchings without damaging the arrow shaft. Not much more to say really?

Works very well but there are cheaper alternatives
It works really well on aluminium arrows but is no better than a very sharp (own brand) snap off retractable knife I bought from a well known DIY store, which also included 5 spare blades and was 60% cheaper. With careful use the knife works really well so I tend to keep this Bohning unit in my kit bag now just for emergencies. I bought the Bohning unit prematurely before someone more experienced with fletching arrows advised me just to use a standard retractable knife. That said this is a good unit, works well but imo is just overpriced compared to the alternatives.

I use to use a box knife and a putty knife to remove fletch and glue but this thing saves me half the time and is much easier to use. It's so efficient and consistent at removing the fletch with a nice sharp blade, set at the perfect angle to not damage the carbon arrow. The blade is pretty durable, holding up to a couple dozen arrows so far. I was a little hesitant to buy because of the price but after having used it, I feel like it's a great value.

Only after cutting the fletches of 7 arrows the blade is completely dull, a sharp prep knife does a far superior job. I do know that there is 2 more blades in the handle!

Cheap and does the job. Won’t last forever though.

De lo mejor para la limpieza de las flechas con el cambio de Vanes, se lo recomiendo

Best fletching stripper I've ever seen or used. Makes what was once a chore an easy, fast process. Have not tried it on wood or carbon arrows, but I expect that IF PROPERLY USED it will work very well on those. It has to be held at the proper angle, but it's design makes that easy. It also requires substantially less force than the traditional single bevel-blade knife. Leaves the shaft almost completely clean in one or two passes. Also works well with Bohning Fletching Tape. I do wish you could replace the blade, it will wear out eventually, but that's the only criticism I have.
