Bourjois Volume Clubbing Volumizing Mascara Absolute Black, 9 ml

I have been using a L'Oreal mascara for a long time - until, in their wisdom, they decided to take it off the market; so I wasted a lot of money trying many other mascaras - I don't need extra length but I do need volume so I was very particular in what I was looking for! I saw Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara reviewed on the internet and decided to 'give it a go'. I am so glad I did. The first time I applied this I thought that I had wasted my money yet again as it just gave the normal 'nothing to write home about' coverage until I started to build the layers - I find that I need to apply approx 4 layers to get the result I like (don't let the layers dry inbetween application)- lovely dark, dramatic, thick lashes that give huge definition to the eye without glogging. The mascara stays on all day and throughout the evening until I take it off - although I do find that it takes some removing so one has to be persistant! On the plus side: Easy application, with good build up and really does what Bourjois advertise it as doing. The amount of mascara in the vial lasts a long time. On the minus side: Because of the thickness of the brush I usually get a line of mascara under my lower lashes - but a sweep with a damp cotton bud easily rectifies this. Would I use it again? I have - at the time of writing I am on my third vial - one for when I run out - one for use and one in my suitcase (I have just been abroad and used this constantly which reminds me to add to its plus side that this mascara stays put in very hot weather - it really does stay where it should. I can't remember whether it is advertised as being waterproof, but it is!) Would I recommend it? Definitely!

I have used this Mascara for 10+ years. I thought it had been discontinued in the UK but have managed to continue purchasing on Amazon! It gives a really good coverage, lengthens lashes and gives great volume. Makes your eyes pop!!!! Really dark black colour too, which I love! I've never found any other Mascara that does a better job!

Others saying about hygiene etc not being sealed! This brand doesn’t seal. I buy the same mascara from TESCO etc and all is unsealed so chill out kids. It’s a great mascara and cheaper on here

Think this is ancient - all dried up and flaky. Or how it usually is at all.

Good product once applied but don’t like the wand or the consistency. I found it too thick and a bit clumsy to apply. That’s only personal preference though as I am better with a think wand and a thinner consistency in the product

Love this mascara ..... no running or smudging under the eyes, even after a 1 hour Zumba class! Doesn't irritate my eyes and removal is easy too.

I have been wearing this mascara for years and it appears to have been discontinued in shops so was thrilled to find it on Amazon at a reduced price. Hard wearing mascara that doesn't run when wet! Looks great- often get asked if I'm wearing fake eyelashes!

Good product. Usually wear this but arrived with no seal. Didn't seem right but no problems so far

Favorite mascara in the whole world

I've never, ever, found a product before that made my sparse pale lashes appear dark, full, long and plentiful all at the same time without having to layer coat after coat all day long, until now! The formula is very thick so it will provide a full coat after 1-2 swipes, but being so thick it also can make your lashes clump together if you're not used to it, so just keep a lash comb handy and try wiping some product off before applying. The brush is not completely round like on most mascara wands, but is flat on two sides- this is where you load up your product and where you position the brush at the base of your lashes. Roll the brush up and away from your eye as you apply (as if you were using a round brush while blow drying your hair), combing the bristles through your lashes using a side to side motion at the same time. It sounds more complicated than it is. The formula is also more wet than most and takes longer to dry than you may be used to, so you may only want to do one eye at a time, and let each dry before closing your eyes or opening them wide or it will smear. It also is absolutely NOT waterproof, and will smudge or run if it gets wet, but is also extremely easy to remove, and in my opinion the payoff is worth it! Total drama, and definite bang for your buck. I adore this mascara.

Visto le recensione negative sullo stato in cui arriva il prodotto, non osavo provare questo mascara, ma alla fine ho ordinato e non sono stata delusa. Sebbene arriva senza sigilo, si vede che è nuovo e mai aperto, nel mio caso. Quello che mi ha piaciuto tanto di questo mascara è il colore nero intenso e la lunga tenuta, non svava ne per un instante, e si toglie abbastanza facilmente con le salviettine struccanti. Secondo me, lo scovolino è troppo duro e non separa bene la ciglia, allora ho cambiato per uno che separa meglio e voilà! Il miracolo. In due o tre passate il risultato della foto. Io non ho particolarmente le ciglie spese né lunghe, e inoltre lacrimo, perciò posso dire che questo mascara mi ha sorpreso. E vero che tende ad asciugarsi presto, per questo si deve chiudere bene e forse aggiungere una goccia di olio di cocco. Tutto sommato ricomprero.
