Can this be used to connect Kindle Fire HD to TV????

Dear Frances, Thank you for your question regarding our Micro HDMI to HDMI cables. This cable is compatible with the Kindle Fire HD and any Tv's with an HDMI port however, the only Kindle with a Micro HDMI port is the original Kindle Fire HD. On these devices, two different ports will be visible. The 2014 Kindle Fire only has a Micro USB port, but can send HDMI video if you purchase a SlimPort to HDMI adapter from Amazon. Will this fit a Proscan 7 inch tablet?  I think it needs the micro size end, but I am not sure of the dimensions.

Hi Margaret H. I have a Proscan 7 inch tablet.  My model number is PLT7223G.  The book says it's micro, but this cable did not work for my tablet.  I needed a mini size.  Micro looks like it is built for a phone.  Personally, I would try the BlueRigger Mini for the ratings and the price, but my friend's cable was fine as well.
