Panasonic ES-LV95-S803 5 Blade Wet / Dry Shaver

I've always struggled with shaving. My beard is thick and grows largely flat, in multiple directions. During my teens I experimented with everything on offer, either ripping my face to pieces wet shaving or irritating my skin using various foil or rotary electric shavers. Eventually I started paying through the nose for expensive blades, lotions and potions. My wet shaving got to the stage where I'd shave twice a week (couldn't shave daily due to irritation) and it was just about acceptable.I saw a video review for this on YouTube and was extremely skeptical given previous experience. Fortunately though it hasn't left me disappointed. It's a very powerful shaver and I'm able to dry shave (it also does wet) daily in half the time (without the mess or preparation) of my old wet shaves. The shave feels more even and perhaps, given my awkward genes, just as close.Usually I'd look to offer pros and cons but I've very little to complain about. I guess the sachets for the cleaning station (1 supplied with the shaver) are expensive but it's so easy to clean the heads under a tap I'll probably never need them.

I have used electric shavers since I was able to and have therefore over many many years had a great number of different shavers, some good ,some less good. I was tempted by several adverts for this shaver which stated how excellent the Panasonic was that I bit the bullet and despite the enormous price purchased this model. I was rather sceptical that it would come up to all the hype but I have to say that this shaver IS BRILLIANT and does shave exactly as people have said, The shave is as close as a wet shave and smooth as the proverbial baby's bottom,It is very expensive in comparison to other shavers but to my mind is worth it and is the best electric shaver I have ever had.

This is a good shaver. I particularly like the wash container. The soap that came with it soon ran out so I just use a bit of normal liquid soap. Fully charged it lasts about two weeks.

I bought this shaver because it's supposed to be good at reducing shaving bumps. All i can say is that i'm glad i bought it because it's the best electric shaver i have bought to date as it leaves my skin smooth and bump free.It took a while to get used to it but all in all it's a great piece of kit. The cleaning station is great while the shaver looks good and well built.Anybody who wants a smooth trouble free shave should buy this. I thouroughly recommend it.

its ok but does not cut soft hairs, no difference from the previous model

I have always found Panasonic shavers to suit me the best and last the longest (many years). After reading the reviews I thought that I would spend the extra money to get the best. This shaver exceeds all expectations! It is the closest shave that I have ever had and dramatically reduces my shaving time. It is a good build quality, looks and feels like the quality device that it is. Contrary to other reviews I found the this the quietest shaver that I have ever owned. I unreservedly recommend it.

Bought this shaver about 6 days ago and have already ditched all of my wet shaving gear. I am actually getting a much closer shave than with a conventional razor and the skin on my face is already looking and feeling much better. It is a fantastic piece of kit! Definitely recommend spending extra on this rather than wasting money on cheaper models which don't do half the job.

Bought this to replace an ageing Philishave rotary shaver. I obviously hadn't paid enough attention to the description as I was surprised by the size of the package that arrived. It comes with a charging/cleaning station which washes & dries the head while charging the battery. The power lead can also be plugged directly into the shaver for travelling. My first shave was with three days growth & I used it in the shower with shaving gel. My chin was as smooth as a baby's bum (are we allowed to say that any more?) and dry shaves with only a day's growth are also superb. Far superior to the Philips and it even removes the tiny white hairs which have started appearing in the past few years. The only downside is the length of the cleaning/drying cycle (about 2h) but otherwise highly recommended.
