Pepte 22 mm Female Thread Replacement Tap Spout Aerator Nozzle

Great quality product. Water flow is now bubbly and light, feels softer and the kids love it. Also using less water which is a plus. Well worth the money. I struggle to see what the alternatives that are priced 2, 3 and 4 times as much can do differently. We have not had this couple of weeks.... I have had to remove a part of the aerator that reduces the flow. If it were just cold water that would be fine but the hot water does not flow fast enough to build pressure so the combi boiler does not switch on to generate hot water. Slight modification still enables water to flow at reduced rate, still using less water than the old one. Would still recommend, just be aware if you have a combi boiler.

The high pressure aerator caused such a high pressue in the nozzle after the tap to cause the swan neck to energetically dismantle itself into my kitchen ceiling - beware there is a serious pressure drop through this nozzle. Once I removed the red aerator, it was a very fine and cheap replacement for a broken nozzle.

I bought this to replace one I had already bought from Amazon that had a flow of 5 ltr p/m, I found it to be a poor flow rate for my kitchen tap. So I then bought this "Pete"aerator and it is great, the flow rate claimed at 12 ltr p/m I would say is pretty accurate, and it is much more powerful. So I would recommend this item if you want a soft but powerful flow.

I purchased a very expensive kitchen sink tap and the bottom end went all rusted i didn’t know that you could get a replacement part for the tap.on till i searched for a new kitchen tap on amazon and I found this item. My local big hardware superstore told me they don't sell tap aerator's because there are too many varietes to stock. Really there are only 4 common sizes in either in male or female. Thankfully found this item, does the job better than my previous which had become a little encrusted with calcium as in a hard water area. While the old one had a tendency to soak the kitchen if the flow was miss-directed this one, with its more generous aeration never causes a problem. Admittedly does take little longer to fill a kettle, but works far better with my on-demand condensing boiler because the gentler flow allows more time for it to heat the water. win, win. And, didn't need to overtighten with a spanner or pliers. Just screwed on finger tight. perfect.
