I mean, I love that thing. The thing is, it never leaves the house. It stays at home, in the same drawer, and I use it usually once a day in the morning when I'm getting ready for work. As it turns out, I need a good travel brush. I really loved the look of the dark walnut wood and gold plated tines on this hairbrush from Uffy. So I decided to give it a go, despite the cost.*TL;DR Review Haiku™*Wonderful hair brushBut questionable science$80 bucks worth it?*What I liked*:This is a true full retail package. The box is beautiful and well thought out. I never thought I'd be discussing the unboxing experience of a hairbrush, but here we are.The brush itself is lovely. It feels great in my hand, the tines glide through my hair perfectly, and it feels really good on my scalp. I also tried it on my wife's hair and she loved it!All told, this is a really nice package and a lovely brush.*What I didn't like*:The biggest issue I have with this brush is the price. At $80, that's a pretty difficult pill for a lot of people to swallow. I'm sure there are some brushes in specialized health and beauty stores that cost more, but I'm just not used to that kind of price. That said, I do really like it in spite of the price.The other thing I want to mention here or is this FIR far infrared technology. This supposedly stimulates hair growth from the heat of your hand through the brush into the brush tips. Frankly, I don't know much about it (or it's general efficacy), but I flat out don't believe that it improves hair growth. A cursory Google search reveals that it can be used as a novel treatment for some circulation related issues. After all, it does produce heat, which improves blood flow. But frankly I do not believe for one second that the warmth of my hand is enough to make that happen in this brush.*The Bottom Line:*So… This one was kind of hard for me to score. The fact is, it's a really nice package and I do really like the brush. The nice box makes for an excellent unboxing experience and would be a great gift. That being said, it's pretty hard to justify $80 for a hairbrush whose main selling point is based upon science that I consider to be spotty at the best of times. But it does do a good job of brushing hair, and I only deduct a single star for price. So, my final score is four stars out of five. If you're willing to spend the money, you're going to get a nice brush. I don't think I would order this over again at that price though.

This is an expensive scalp massager and I would not recommend this at the price it's listed for since gold plated bristles aren't going to make much of a difference for hair growth. That being said it's a luxury item so it is going to have outlandish claims that will entice people to buy it. I don't find much of a difference using this brush as when I use a $7 brush that is more gentle on my scalp. Yes it feels like a luxury item since it has good weight to it and is of nice quality.

It really looks and feels like a premium product. It brushes like you'd expect and feels good in hand. The gold plating is a very nice touch but for us the wood finish is what sets it apart. We cant say this is value for the money as it is pretty expensive but if you can afford it... why not. I dunno... i just feel cool having it with me :)

Nice product presentation! Packaging is made with a lot of thought. I love the design and the color (sky blue). The brush seems to be good quality and solid. It comes with a little nice pouch to keep it or carry.I only tried it to brush my ponytail so I didn't really use it on the scalp yet. Mine is a bit sensitive so I will update in case it hurts.I think it can be especially convenient when traveling or to bring with you anywhere. This will be an addition in my purse!While I recommend it, I don't think I'd personally make such a big investment on this type of product. It's a bit pricey and I'm not sure if all benefits advertised will be noticeable overtime.

First of all this small little handheld hairbrush was presented in style and is gift ready. Everything from the brush to the box to the little velvet-bag it comes with is really pretty looking. I have only used it a handful of times at night so far but I'm hoping that over time it will indeed improve blood circulation and promote hair growth. It's still too early to tell as far as the benefits go but I can say this feels great on my scalp and is really relaxing. I also like that the brush can fit in the palm of your hand making it portable and easy to toss in a purse. I even love the small drawstring bag to store it in too. Overall this is a very nice product that does seem a little pricey but if does indeed do all that it claims to then it will definitely be worth it =)

This is a palm-sized hair brush/detangler. It's touted to have gold-plating on the bristles, which minimizes static etc., but I couldn't tell a difference there, so I can't comment on it. What I can say is that it's made well enough. The wood backing is solid, the bristles are rigid. This *does* work well with tangled hair, as it brushes smooth on my head that was purposely a tangled mess. Though, I suspect that's due to the spacing of the bristles rather than any 'plating'. Nevertheless, it brushes with ease.The bristles are a bit pointy, so not the most comfortable brushing out there if you can to brush your scalp hard.I can't realistically recommend this brush due to the high price, but if it's truly gold-plated, and having that is important *and* the going price for that is fairly high, then I suppose this is a good deal. If you don't care about plating, then you should skip this one due to the price. It's not that good.

This is a gorgeous hair brush. The walnut wood tone is beautiful and it feels supple in my hand. The gold plated bristles glide easily through my hair and leave it looking sleek and smooth. As the manufacturer states this brush provides a nice scalp massage. It was packaged well when it arrived and came with a protective carrying pouch. I honestly love using this brush. Unfortunately I can’t be sure about the far infrared claims. If the brush works for this it’s an added bonus. At $80 retail it does seem expensive. Taking off one star for price. Otherwise, this is a beautiful, luxury hair brush.
