Most aren't flat and are warped which causes problems for some applications.

Worth their Weight in Gold.
I rarely write reviews however I bought some of these to aid level installation of decking boards. Without them it would have been a terrible job. These shims take up clearances and aid levelling in so many areas. All colour coded with sizes marked on the packet.Invaluable.
