Great Quality! The way the handle of the knife fits the hand is excellent. As always the blade quality is above all right out of the package! It is a true joy to use.

Moderately new to whittling and wanted to step-up from a standard pocketknife. Saw a video over this and purchased it almost immediately. It has made a huge impact on my projects as it was incredibly sharp, easy to use and much safer than the pocket knife I had been using. The ergonomics are great, I truly enjoy whittling without getting a cramp in my hand or blisters on my fingers. I had cut myself numerous times as my previous knife had slipped or something of the sort, this purpose built knife hasn’t eliminated that. More experienced whittlers may find something wrong with it but, I don’t.

Very high quality you get what you pay for

Looks like a good knife but the listing mentions in 2 different places that it comes with a custom strop and a sheath and it does not. The unsealed plastic package doesn’t even have room for those two items. I’m very disappointed and returning it. Amazon couldn’t do anything to help besides return it

Fist off, as with other Flexcut tools I have purchased, it was sharp right out of the package. Starting with the handle. It is rounded so no sharp corners to dig into your hand. The size is comfortable to hold for extended periods. It is also long enough to ensure you have a good grip on the tool. The handle is aluminum so I have no doubt it will be durable. The tools are easy to remove from the handle. All of the tools lock into place once extended which is a must for me since I use my thumb to push the blade while carving most of the time. I mostly carve 1x6 inch and smaller pieces. The blade length will work well for my needs. Now for the nitpicks which are more personal preference than anything else. The straight gouge is a deep gouge. I would prefer it be more shallow but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I would also prefer the v gouge to be straight rather than a right angle scorp. Again not a deal breaker. Overall this is a very good carving jack for on the go.
