I was initially a little hesitant about having TP-Link products, due the media exposure associated with alleged Chinese CCP governmental access, but my personal experience with my TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro AZE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Mesh Router has been nothing but favorable. (Anyway, I have had to deal with security issues by companies that have much weaker security protocols than TP-Link over the years.) . I utilize all the security controls that are built into the TP-Link Deco system and monitor the system frequently. The ability to maintain constant and reliable WiFi access throughout my home and more than 100 feet beyond the walls of my home is great. I wish they had a Window 11 application, but using the Deco application on my phone at home or away is useful. Since Xfinity (Comcast), AT&T, etc., consider this TP-Link router acceptable for use connecting to their networks, it has to meet a certain level of security scrutiny. I get constant Deco reports from my system, allowing me to detect and review any changes. Sometimes, I get bothered by some WiFi enabled devices that use randomized MAC addresses used by my own family, but I can delete them from the network, if I have any concern. I realize that Network Routers over the last 10 years have changed significantly (I used to use Netgear products), but the newest TP-Link products have a great value, ease of use, and significant coverage for a smaller overall price. The MESH setup is much more superior than the single point router, impacted by interim walls, etc. As an interim measure to maintain communications temporarily during a power outage, I have at least one Deco unit on a UPS system.
