Q: Anyone use these for underneath Guinea Pig bedding ,

Yes, I purchased for my guinea pigs and they’re so much better than puppy pads they’re super absorbent stay dry on top and easy to wash and quick drying. I put fleece blankets and bath mats on top and I only need change the bed mats once a week.

Q: is this available in blue or just pink?

The pink side is the side you lie on and the blue side is the plastic waterproof barrier which goes face down on the bed

Q: Would this be ok for a small double bed and a 4yr old?

We bought these to use in a camper an where fitted sheet difficult. We used it on a single bed as a trial but found a four year old moved to the side of it and wet the mattress! Also not easy to wash and took ages to dry. On a regular basis we use a waterproof fitted sheet.
