Study horizontal tripod
This is a great addition for those outdoor projector movie nights. The tripod is very sturdy using decent quality steel. The directions rate this as supporting 11 lbs objects. The height availability is should serve most setup needs with 2 adjustment points. The top adjustment provides approx 2 inch adjustment, the middle approx 14 inches. (The bottom has about 1.5 inch adjustment at the expense of leg stability due to legs being closer together. The top tray of tripod that items sit on is a simple metal try with thin removable foam. The tray however does not have any mounting brackets or quick release system to hold items secure. Instead it comes with this elastic straps that are not very strong. While the unit could be set for vertical orientation better straps will be needed to secure unit due to the above lack of mounting brackets. As such this is best suited for horizontal use of.Unit comes with a flexible connection rod to hold smaller devices like a phone via a spring loaded gripper. The rod connects to the base via one of 3 holes secure with a knob screw. The lack of better securing for vertical orientation without extra straps results is why review being 4 star else it would be 5 start due to quality.Pros Large area for a projector or laptop Variable height adjustmentsCons Elastics are flimsy Vertical orientation limited but doable with non supplied methods.

Very sturdy, well made laptop/projector stand.
I am looking to door some outdoor movie nights and need somewhere to put my projector and whatever device I am streaming from. This stand gives me options. It has a large enough platform to hold a laptop, but I really like that it has a arm that will hold your cell phone as well. I was really impressed with the build of this stand, and assembly is quick and easy. The whole thing feels solid and stable. The legs and riser are good size tubing with a nice wide base so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over. The platform mounts solidly, it doesn’t shake or rattle. The only thing I disliked or wasn’t happy with, and it is a common issue, is storage. Once you disassemble this stand, which is just as fast and easy as the assembly, you don’t have anywhere to put it. Not the biggest deal with the two large pieces I guess, but the small phone arm and the phone holder are small pieces that are easy to misplace if you don’t have somewhere to store it all. It is easy to solve, just buy a small cheap duffle for it all, but I did deduct one star, because something that comes apart for storage, and has some small pieces, should ideally include something to keep it all together. Other than that one issue, this stand is a great stand.

A helpful stand, but be careful of the non-slip feet!
Realistically, I would give this 3.5 stars if I could choose on a half-star rating scale. I do find this item handy and will continue to use it on a regular basis. The stand is very easy to assemble, reasonably sturdy but light enough to lift and move, and can be adjusted for height with little hassle. The additional phone holding "arm" is a nice advantage: being in meetings during the day, I often have to keep my eye on the phone to some degree, and the phone holder allows me to do so without appearing noticeably distracted. The phone holder could be a little more user friendly; I found mine a little difficult to slide open to accommodate the size of my phone. It does work but is a little stiff. Finally, it's tempting to think that one can 'slide' the stand across the floor to pull a device closer or push it farther away, as I am accustomed to having to do multiple times a day. Since the feet of the stand are non-slip, trying to slide the stand over the floor can put one in danger of tipping it over and possibly sending one's laptop sailing. As long as one remembers the non-slip feet, the device should be safe.

Perfect height for a mini projector, one downside.
This table is larger than I thought. That's great since it fits a good deal of things like laptops and speakers.I wanted it to sit a mini projector on for movie nights outside. It keeps the projector off the ground and helps with angles. The overall construction is solid, it's mostly metal with a durable plastic as the knobs. It gets pretty tall. About 2.5 feet. The table can be pivoted at an angle to adjust back and forth. That's perfect since my projector needs to clear some objects. The feet can be spread wide for stability or tall for height. I like this because in grass I want that wide stance. The downside here is the tray, it has a foam padding (the real cheap kind that feels like packing material) but if you remove it to just keep the bare metal there's a lip. The lip does hold stuff into the tray. But my projector lens doesn't clear this lip. The bottom part clips it. This may just be a small problem I have, and I've put a book under it, but I figured I'd share.Ultimately this table is quality and easy to assemble. Packs away neatly! For the price it's nicer than you'd anticipate!
