I have bought and wasted so much money over the years trying different insulated coffee mugs and I have finally found one that actually works and works well. I never use the plastic lid as I don't use this as a travel mug, just a normal mug. I just wanted a coffee mug that keeps my coffee hot, from start to finish, as I like my coffee hot. This does just that, better than any other insulated mug I have bought. The outside never gets hot, so you can hold it by the handle or the body without any issue, whilst the liquid inside stays hot, just like I want it to. Perfect

This Mug looked fabulous and I was so excited when it arrived and that only took a couple of days. The red colour is deep and rich and the 'Groovy' blue one really very stylish. I have installed an outdoor seat and wanted a mug for all weather and all liquids and i've got it. Coffee, tea and herb tea are my favourite drinks and there all perfect in there. It's so simple to clean with just one swirl round and rinse and I have to say I don't know what I did without one. I really recommend these mugs, you'll love them.

It does indeed keep the coffee hot longer than a regular cup. I think, though, there is a slight metallic taste. I will keep the cup because I like to sit outside in the morning and slowly sip on a cup of coffee, even if the taste is not 100% perfect. I can at least sip on hot coffee over the course of an hour or more.
