Nice replacement for the USB-A to Micro B cable the drive came with. Not as stiff as the original so packs into drive travel case easier. Don't notice any significant read/ write speed difference, likely due to older drive. Length is perfect for desktop or laptop use. Well built. Worked with three different portable drives without any issues.
