Would these work as shears for cutting thin wire mesh/chicken wire quickly?

The scissors would certainly cut through thin ferrous wire. Mine are two years old and have been used to cut copper wire and plastic and remain razor sharp. I believe the cutting of ferrous material will dull the cutting edge but to what degree would depend on the usage. All I can say is that they are an amazingly tough pair of scissors which will serve you well if you look after them.

Can these cut heave duty tape?

Yes, it cuts most things. I don't know how I got along without them before. Good for wire stripping, allsorts.

How long is the cutting edge of the blades?

from the end of the plastic handle, to the tip of the blade,is 64mm - from the inside of the angle between, the blades,is 44 mm a bit short for this type of scissors but they are good quality and strong. hope it helps john

Do the ck electricians scissors have the ck name or logo on them? thanks.

Mine do on one of the blades. It's quite small as these aren't a massive pair of scissors.
