TRESemme 2805U Volume Curl Tong - 32 mm

This product is really good!I have medium length fine hair, and this curler gives me amazing curls and waves, making my hair look a lot thicker than it actually is, with a lot of volume!The curlers themselves heat up very quickly, in less than a minute. I don't actually use the clamp part, I just wrap my hair (in one inch sections for curls or 3 inch sections for lose waves) around the barrel and hold it there for ten seconds or so. The curls hold extremely well with or without hairspray, and I tend to leave the curls alone whilst getting dressed/makeup application, then comb through with my fingers to get beautiful natural looking curls! I've had lots of compliments about my hair since using this, my friends have even tested it out and bought it themselves. Could not recommend it enough, you wont regret this purchase!The curler came with a heat protection mat, which is a really good quality one as well, and the curlers have a tiny stand so they can cool efficiently!

I found that if you used the clamp like supposed to with this curling iron it isnt very good, my hair is belly button length and it only curled the ends. Whereas if you take the hair and wrap it around the curler as if it was a curling wand, and completely ignore the clamp it is absolutely brilliant and gives loose bouncy curls! Love it, definitely worth the money. They do go up quite hot but i leave the hair on there for around 20-30 seconds for the best effect, then simply run your fingers through when cooled and your hair will look amazing. As for some people saying it only lasted 5 minutes, strange as with me i curled my hair at around 6pm, the next morning woke up and the curls were still in my hair, i didnt have to top up or anything. So yes for the price this curler is fabulous, and if you have hair at around mid back length or longer i'd say its best for you!

For the price, it's good but I definitely would not pay full price for it. My hair really thick and long, so because the curls from this are HUGE, they drop it very quickly. Only last a couple of hours. However, that's not the products fault but rather the fact that I should have bought a smaller wand. Otherwise, works great, looks great, and it's still definitely better than using my straighteners to curl my hair so I don't regret purchasing it.

These are great curling tongs for the price. I use mainly as a wand for relaxed waves and find (depending on the weather), they last well. Love that the barrel is really smooth and glides easily through hair if clamped down. Also holds fine, small sections of hair securely with slipping out. Far superior to my old GHDs

Delivery and packaging fantastic as is the norm with direct purchases from Amazon.for me these tongs are amazing. They are super easy to use, fantastic temperature which is easy to control there are three settings, quick to heat, smooth barrel makes winding and release of the curl from the full length clip/tong a breeze. I use them every day (always protect my hair with a heat protector) if you allow the curls to cool before dressing out they last for hours! My only criticism is that the plug is kind of a squashed version and its difficult to remove it from the plughole because there is little to grab onto - however overall a fantastic hair appliance I never want to be without them. (My hair is coarse, thick and reaches mid back in length).

The metal on the handle gets hot and burns your hand, the flap also does not open wide enough to easily wrap your hair around the barrel making it awkward to use with a high risk of burning your hand/head/face. I would not recommend

Doesn't work well on long hair even if pinned after curling the curls go flat within an hour.

With my hair being quite thick and long, unless it's really tight curls, they won't show in my hair so this one being meant for loose curls I didn't have high hopes.... how mistaken I was! I can't believe how well and how quickly it curls my hair, it says 4-8 seconds and that's all it takes and I have a perfectly curled piece of hair and it last all day and the day after!! It's very quick to heat up, the delivery time is also quick, colours nice, easy to use, nothing bad to say about it!
