Water proof trousers
These waterproof trousers are excellent quality and do exactly what they’re supposed to. They kept me completely dry in heavy rain and are lightweight, comfortable, and easy to pull on over other clothes. The fit is great, they’re well made, and they offer excellent value for money. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who spends time outdoors.

Good waterproof overtrousers that do the job
Good waterproof overtrousers that do the jobThese Regatta overtrousers have turned out to be exactly what I wanted for walking and hiking in changeable weather. The quality feels good for the price, the material is properly waterproof and breathable, and they fit comfortably without feeling overly bulky. They’re lightweight enough to pack away into the carry bag when you don’t need them, which makes them handy to take on longer walks or trips where the weather might change. They’ve stood up to rain and mud without letting water in, and the pockets are genuinely useful for keeping small bits and pieces without having to unzip my jacket. The pack-away bag isn’t just an afterthought either, as it holds them neatly and makes them easy to toss in a rucksack. Overall they’ve been reliable and good value, comfortable enough for longer outings and ready to go when the forecast isn’t perfect.

Really Good, Perfect.
So I bought the Regatta Pack-it Jacket along with the Pack-it Trousers with the thought of them being "just ok for the price", however since having used them several times in some absolutely terrible wet and windy weather they are really proving to be a fantastic purchase. I bought the XL sizes to fit over my usual L sized clothing (and body fit) and this works out really great with them easily fitting over my usual trousers and fleece jacket. The jacket and trousers come with a small pack bag into which they roll up and can be stored in a small space in a bag/pocket etc for use when needed - the pack would be better in a coat pocket or bag than a trouser pocket due to the size (which isn't that big - but too big for a trouser pocket). Quality wise they are fine and seem to be standing up to loads of use with the zipper being easy use and general workmanship appearing to be sound.I always find a negative point (as nowt's perfect) - the jacket and trousers have an opening to access the pockets within your underjacket/trousers, for some reason Regatta has sewn these openings to face forwards rather than backwards which means that you are totally dry apart from the pocket area which the wind will blow the water into the openings - strange design decision on Regatta's part there? (it is minimal, nothing to worry much about but could be improved upon).Would I buy again, certainly! The Regatta Pack-It Jacket and Trousers fit nicely over my usual clothing, are comfy to wear with easy movement and are great value for money.

Great lightweight waterproof option for unpredictable weather
I picked up the Regatta Pack-It Men's Waterproof Overtrousers mainly for golf but they have come in handy for hiking in changeable UK weather, and overall, I’m really pleased with them. They do exactly what they promise — keep you dry without adding a ton of bulk.Pros:Waterproof performance: I've worn these through some pretty heavy downpours, and they’ve kept my legs completely dry. The fabric beads water nicely and dries quickly when hung up.Lightweight and packable: They fold down into their own little stuff sack, which makes them perfect to throw in the golf bag or a backpack without taking up much space.Comfortable fit: The elasticated waistband and adjustable ankles mean they’re easy to get on and off over boots, and they don't feel too restrictive when walking.Cons:Breathability could be better: Like many waterproof trousers at this price point, they can get a little clammy inside if you’re exerting yourself, but that’s to be expected.Overall - If you’re after a simple, affordable, and reliable pair of waterproof overtrousers for hiking, commuting, or festivals, these are a solid choice.

Would have been great but the pockets openings make this an unrealiable as waterproof pants
The material from which it is made is great and waterproof. The sizing provided is accurate enough. I would have given this product a 4 or a 5 star for its price-quality range but the pockets really disappointed me. They do not look right. It is as though they are angled wrongly, and are supposed to be positioned facing the opposite direction (the side closer to the back should be closer to the front and vice versa). They should have added a button, zip or velcro to be able to close the hole. Or, they could have just not provided it at all. Since the designers/manufacturers didn't do any of these, these pockets end up as gaping holes by your side if your legs are bent (like they would be when you are cycling) where water can easily get in. I'll try to get my rain jacket to cover up the pockets openings, or maybe just tape them the inside, and hope I do not get caught out in hard rain.
