A must have
I’m experimenting through teaching myself/learning to sew, and this tool has been invaluable even as a novice. I use it all the time to get the right curve, replicate another curve or adjust a pattern to be a mix of sizes. It’s a nice fairly thin sheet of metal, not bendy, feels like its good quality. It has a hole at the narrower end to hang it up. As far as I can tell the measurements are accurate and matching on either side, but I haven’t personally used it as a measurement device. The lines and numbers do not seem like they’re going anywhere any time soon either.

Durability and cleat markings. Good value for the money.
Aluminum over plastic is preferred because of durability. I find no reason needing it to be see-through for my use. The size is just right for pattern making. The markings are clear. I am happy with it.

Sturdy; the quality of this piece is so much better than the plastic ones; it is a nice size, the markings are clear, it is strong and sturdy, a nice size...12 in . This is great for the price also.

This is a solid curve ruler.
This ruler is thick enough to be solid and not too flexible, but not so thick that it makes it hard to use. I would purchase again if needed.

Markings on either side don't line up?
Perhaps I'm missing something, but as others mentioned it looks like the measurement markings on either side of this ruler don't line up. Although it's not a huge discretion, this is a problem- for example if you're drawing two mirrored sides of a pattern it may come out uneven. Considering how much this costs for a little piece of aluminum, they could at least get the measurements correct.

It's good though markings on each side don't line up
It's a nice curve made from durable metal. Very useful to draw. Unfortunately though the markings on either side don't line up, they are about 1/2 inch off. It's not a huge problem, but certainly noticeable when trying to mirror a curve.
