Lucas Oil 10533 White Lithium Grease-236ml

Amazing product

I mainly used this for lubricating and maintaining 3D printers and it worked very well for that purpose. The grease applied easily, stayed where it was supposed to and helped keep moving parts running smoothly without needing constant reapplication. One thing I particularly liked was the white colour, as it made it easy to see exactly where grease had been applied and whether areas needed topping up during maintenance. The tube lasted a long time as well since you only need a small amount for most jobs. I'm sure there are plenty of other uses for it, but for 3D printer maintenance it worked exactly as I wanted it to and I'd happily buy it again.

Used this to lubricate the cars door hinges and retaining arm (something that is part of a car servicing garages never do!) I also used it to lubricate a VHS VCR that I am using to transfer all my 20+ year old compact VHS palmcorder tapes to hard drive and DVD. The VCR mechanisms are working so much better without a hint of a jam! Don't get it anywhere near the recording heads, rubber rollers or tension arms or anything the tape touches!

Using this with a bambu x-1 carbon. The maintenance docs recommended it. It doesn't degrade or dry out over time so its a good grease and the machine seems happy. Pop on some nitrile gloves and apply it with my fingers whenever the printer asks me to.

from the average punter's perspective grease is grease. Definitely for specific items like CV joints you need to use the correct grease, but for general purpose use this is fine. The best thing about this is the packaging. A regular can will last for 20 years and more than likely end up contaminated with rust dust and dirt. This is a neat tube that can live in you tool box. It stays clean, still lasts for years and you don't need to grab a handful to get the job done.
