I purchased this unit to hold the music library in my car. I had previously been using a different SanDisk model, the UltraFit, which is tiny but becomes exceedingly hot because the entire chipset is contained in the plug. This unit is larger, probably double the size, but it moves the chipset out of the plug. Moving the chipset out of the plug lets air circulate around it and allows it to operate cooler.The larger size means this unit doesn't overheat and shutdown like the UltraFit and I can live with the slightly larger size. SanDisk is now owned by Western Digital, so hopefully we won't see a decrease in quality.

I was looking for a quality but affordable drive to transfer a large cache of family photos to my daughter. I need a large capacity to handle over a 100gb of photos. Because these are personal photos I wants a quality drive from a reputable company. I did not want to risk losing everything with a cheap Chinese made drive from an unknown vendor. But I did need the drive to be affordable. This drive met all my needs.

when i use it, the speed was so fast to read my documents and music. Love it, it is small and convenient to take out.

With the right 'live' Linux distro set up on one of these, you can even carry around your own portable, personalized computer environment, available on any machine you can boot it up from - without altering a single file on the host computer. Or carry backups of your most important files. Buy enough, follow a good backup routine, and you'll never lose vital data again.

Storage capacity. This flash drive is absolutely fantastic the ability to store all of my data on this little device is absolutely amazing the quality is outstanding and the price is unbelievable it’s great to have quality workmanship again in the USA

What you need to know. Reformat to to NTFS to get maximum storage. Otherwise, thes work great, fantastic pricing, easy to use and store. I purchased 3 more Flash drives after previously purchasing 2.

Great Flash Drive. I've already done a ton of crap with this thing, and it has been pretty flawless. My only concern is that my dog seems to be fixated on it. He just stands from across the room, sticking his snout out as far as possible, lowering and raising his head as if he's trying to get a read on it. His tail is pointed straight out all the while. I'm not sure if it's the colour of the flash drive, or that it might look like some kinda critter, or maybe because I shoved that flash drive straight up my tar-hole as soon as I could get it out of the package. Either way, Peanut Butter is spooked!!
