I’ve used this to descale coffe machines and the kettle, works really well and is very easy to use. Really cleans of all the limescale effortlessly.

This is good. To descale a kettle you need 100ml, it's not as concentrated as the sachets. There are some advantages... It's safer, being less concentrated. It's easy to use and store. You can decide how much you need. When I descale a kettle I don't get obsessed by poisoning the next person to use it or spoiling the taste. Apply, rinse, boil, rinse is all you need to do to make the kettle ready for use. Cons: The pouring spout is squeezy, no air intake... if you try to use only a drop, other drops will splatter the surrounding area when you turn the bottle upright. You have to be assertive, squeeze out what you need and immediately turn the bottle upright in one motion to avoid spills.

No problems, removed the (minor) scaling that I wanted it to. Decent price for a 2 pack. Don't bother trying it for things like tea tanning in cups, there no chance.

I bought this thinking it would be the same as the OUST sachets, which I have found very effective in a hard water area. I was puzzled that it displayed almost no effervescence when added to a kettle in the recommended quantity. After doubling the dose It did, eventually, remove most of the scale but not in the stated 10 minutes, 3 hours would be more appropriate, the scale visibly returning in a couple of days, rather than the 2/3 weeks when sachets used. My conclusion is that, unless someone got at my bottle, it is considerably less concentrated and less effective than the OUST sachets, which I would recommend, although I do think they are expensive, or maybe I'll go back to vinegar which was nearly as good.

This bottle is a con. You expected it to be cheap and last longer. It does none of that.
