Bottles state, "Best Served Chilled". Plus, they need refrigeration if only partially consumed after opening. Stashed in a cooler or ice chest, they should be okay. Of course, YMMV.

Can you drink it hot?

It's a taste issue, YMMV, because these shakes taste differently at room temperature than from the fridge. Preference is an individual issue. My preference has been to drink it cold, regardless of which flavor. Also, vitamin & mineral efficacy may change with heat. Slimfast should be consulted for such notions.
