Love the way it thickens no lumps or odd taste
Love the way this works for pie thickening... No lumps no taste . Much better than flour, cornstarch, or other thickeners that I've tried. It is a much higher price than through King Arthur but you have to consider it if you have to pay for shipping through King Arthur. Just don't buy it during the holiday seasons or any baking holidays the price really is a lot higher on Amazon! But goes down a lot lower during the off seasons. Plus it lasts a long time!!

Excellent Thickener
Used it sparingly and little goes a long way. Excellent stabilizer for my whipped cream cakes! Haven’t used it for pies yet but it held my whipped cream like a champ during the summer hot months in Nevada when making fresh fruit whipped cream cakes. It never melt during transportation or display.
